World Trolleybus Encyclopaedia. Yateley, Hampshire, UK: Trolleybooks. p.79. ISBN 0-904235-18-1. Both Nico and Cruz have conflicting responses to the case. While Ward and Cruz believe that Holmes is telling the truth, Nico believes Lind's story and that Homes partook in the killings himself for a left-handed hand print was found at the scene of the crime on the baseboard in the bed where Ron was murdered. Yet all of the officers are unsure who is really telling them everything; Lind, a biker and criminal with a heroin addiction and whom has a grudge against Holmes since his girlfriend was one of the victims; or Holmes, a porn actor with a cocaine addiction and whom is known in the social circles as a sociopath and a pathological liar.

The Hollywood Pantages Theatre is no doubt one of the most extravagant theatres in the world. An art deco masterpiece located in the heart of Hollywood, it was a popular venue for many dazzling stage ... On July 1, 1981, police arrived at 8763 Wonderland Avenue as movers next door heard moans from the house. Inside, they found the blood-soaked and bludgeoned bodies of the home’s lease-holder Joy Miller, her lover Billy DeVerell, Wonderland leader Ron Launius, and the girlfriend of another gang member. But then in the summer of 1981, Holmes found himself deeply indebted to the leader of the Wonderland Gang, Ron Launius. To pay them off, Holmes offered up his friend Nash, saying he could get them into his multi-million-dollar home and rob him. Laurel Canyon is a mountainous neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills region of the Santa Monica Mountains, within the Hollywood Hills West district of Los Angeles, California. The main thoroughfare of Laurel Canyon Boulevard connects the neighborhood with the more urbanized parts of Los Angeles to the north and south, between Ventura Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard. Wonderland concludes with Holmes and Dawn driving to a new life in Florida but reveals the aftermath in captioning. Somewhat amazingly, and despite Holmes’ handprint at the scene, nobody was charged for the murders. Holmes was arrested in December 1981, charged with the four murders in March 1982, but later acquitted after his lawyers successfully argued he was coerced into leading the assailants to the house but had no hand in the crime. His only sentence was 110 days in jail after being in contempt of court. Holmes died of an AIDS-related illness on 13 March 1988.There was nothing at all half-hearted about Ron Launius’s criminal enterprises, though. Launius was Wonderland’s king, and he was as cold as ice. But the LAPD were so keen on resolving the Wonderland Murders that they even arrested Nash for possession of crystal meth in 1995 — only for the drugs to be identified as a mothball. Though police didn’t identify a suspect initially, Nash pointed fingers at several people he knew had been in his home the day of the crime. Until the twentieth century, passage up the canyon was made on foot or by mule. In 1907, an 82-mile dirt road, later named Laurel Canyon Boulevard, was built. It ran up the canyon, dividing at what is now Lookout Mountain Road; the left road went up to the summit of Lookout Mountain, and the right branch of the road went to the top of the Santa Monica Mountains and then down to the San Fernando Valley. Lemons, Stephen (June 9, 2000). "Return to Wonderland (With his old pal Eddie Nash to be arraigned Monday in a 19-year-old murder case, the restless ghost of legendary porn star John Holmes once again stalks L.A.)". Salon.
