Wolf Brother is a 2004 young adult novel by British writer Michelle Paver. The first installment in Paver’s Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series, Wolf Brother is set in the Stone Age. It follows twelve-year-old Torak and his wolf-cub companion on their quest to fulfill the dying wish of Torak’s father. Just as they reach the Mountain of the World Spirit, Renn and Torak are captured by Renn’s brother Hord and taken to the camp of the Raven Clan, who have been in pursuit of Torak since his escape. However, Fin-Kedinn, convinced that Torak should go to the Mountain alive, releases him. He reveals to Torak that at the time of his death, Torak’s father had been engaged in a quest to defeat the Soul Eaters, a gang of renegade mages using evil magic to take over the forest. Fin-Kedinn believes the Soul Eaters created the demonic bear to kill Torak’s father. He hopes that it is Torak’s destiny to defeat them. that’s the best book ! i speak german and read it in german, and it’s the best book on the earth.! i love it so much.! and the another bands of “chronik der dunklen Wälder” was also very very great. i love it so!
