About this deal

Calliope accepts, stepping into the exhilarating world of the “ghosts,” a society of revolutionaries fighting for social justice. But when Haunt and Rail commits to exposing a dangerous person on campus, it becomes clear that some ghosts define justice differently than others. Nowadays, he’s an inspiration to many bodybuilders and a great source of motivation for anyone wanting to be successful. Another way the book could have gone is with statistical tables. Thomas Piketty took that approach in his masterful books of history (e.g., Capital in the 21st Century). That was a hard read, but ultimately deeply informative. This book is a hard read and ultimately not informative. If you have a problem with me, write the problem on a piece of paper, fold it, and shove it up your ass.

If you're into dark academia, this one is for you! Very Bad People is perfect for fans of Karen M. McManus! The characters are written so well to the point where you trust them all, just to be completely mind blown by what’s to come. you feel actual betrayal and confusion, which is something i love in a book. This was a true story so at times when I was getting bored, I tried to think about how this was real. But the fact the telling of the story got boring at times was real too. There was a blind girl who hated herself purely for the fact she was blind. The only person she didn’t hate was her loving boyfriend, as he was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry him.He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity-the boiling water. However, each one reacted differently. The potato went in strong, hard and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak. Dark academia setting and a number of mysteries all linked to a secret society meant I was hoping that this would be a shoe-in hit. While it was definitely a read that caught my attention (and I would certainly award it 3.5 stars if that were an option), there were elements that prevented me rating it higher. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, “This is for you, Daddy.” The man didn’t think anything of it and sat there waiting for the wings to enlarge to support the butterfly. But that didn’t happen. The butterfly spent the rest of its life unable to fly, crawling around with tiny wings and a swollen body. By no means a positive book, it refers to a 'shadow network' - the complex interplay between the regulated and unregulated global economy, exploited by legal loopholes across jurisdictions.

So Calliope decides to figure it out herself. She goes to Tipton Academy, the school her mother went to. And she finds herself wrapped up in a mystery-one much bigger than what she expected. Adolf Hitler was a German politician who was the leader of the Nazi Party, Chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, and Führer of Nazi Germany. Hitler initiated World War II in Europe with the invasion of Poland in 1939 and he was the central figure behind the Holocaust which killed over 6 million Jews. For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer.”– Arnold Schwarzenegger Six years ago Calliope Bolan and her sisters were in the car with their mother when the car went off the road into a lake. Calliope had been sleeping when the accident happened and awake to help her sisters out of the car but the girls could not save their mother and to this day still don’t know why the accident happened.

Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti was the 5th President of Iraq. He played a key role in the 1968 coup that brought the party to power in Iraq. Hussein was executed by hanging on December 30, 2006. People’s words can have a big effect on other’s lives. Think about what you say before it comes out of your mouth. It might just be the difference between life and death. He decided tooffer the businessman a deal that would completely wipe out the debt he owed him. However, the catch was that we would only wipe out the debt if he could marry the businessman’s daughter. He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, “Did you not hear us?”

This book truly is essential reading. Before reading this I had no idea what the NGO Global Witness did and their influence on public policy and exposing some of the worlds most corrupt individuals and organisations. How Global Witness progressed with their first investigation into the timber plants in Cambodia and Thailand. They relive that very first foray into unsafe territories where anything could have happened in the hope that they would find out how the Khumer Rouge maintained its funding and how the regime profited well into the 1990’s. On the way they had to cross a stream. One day the donkey suddenly tumbled down the stream and the salt bag also fell into the water. The salt dissolved in the water and hence the bag became very light to carry. The donkey was happy. The setting was part of the reason this was so great. Isolated boarding school with secret societies, what wasn't to love? The vibes were immaculate, and so fun to imagine! Corruption is theft, but it’s more than that. It’s also betrayal of public trust. It’s abuse of power. It’s lying and cheating. It involves impoverishment of many, usually ordinary, helpless people. It quite often involves false imprisonment, beatings, torture, and murder.
