Something bad happens, and I don’t really care, or I might even find it entertaining. I don’t mean that I sit watching tragedies on the news, laughing my head off, having a wank. It’s just that every now and then, somebody will talk about how something is bad or dangerous or tragic, and I’ll be wondering why I don’t feel the same way. It’s brilliant, he’s brilliant, I enjoyed every bit of this book (Audiobook that is) Definitely worth getting the audio book over the book itself. It’s so frank and honest, I was already a huge Limmy fan but this has made me a super fan! Very refreshing to hear his experiences of sexuality, mental illness and addiction, without any of the shame or male bravado that can make it hard to open up. I would recommend this book to everyone but I think a lot could be learned for teenagers and teenage boys.World's Smallest Cat: Here are 10 breeds of adorable tiny cats that will always look like cute kittens - including the teeny tiny Devon Rex cat breed Limmy interview: 'The one thing that makes me happy is accepting people are stupid' ". The Daily Telegraph. 5 May 2017 . Retrieved 31 May 2017. a b c "Brian Limond: How I got there and where to next". The Drum. 20 January 2010 . Retrieved 15 June 2020.

In 2014, Limmy had a regular segment in the second series of the Charlie Brooker news satire show Weekly Wipe. He is also known for his live webcam chats, in which he interacts with fans and makes music. [19] In 2015, Limmy wrote his first book titled Daft Wee Stories, published by Random House. [20] [21] To promote the book, Limmy embarked on a UK book reading tour. Three of the stories were also published in The Scotsman newspaper. [22] [23] Limmy's parody tribute makes it onto Sky News' Peter Stringfellow segment - NME". NME. 7 June 2018 . Retrieved 1 August 2018. I’ve not said much about my brother and my mum and dad, so here’s a bit about what they were like when I was wee. I’ll try and keep it short in case you’re not interested in that sort of thing. I said to them, oh, I don’t know if I could fill a whole book with just that. But how’s about I write a general autobiography type of thing, and all the mental health stuff will naturally appear along the way? I could talk about growing up and slashing my wrist and taking acid all the time and getting done for car theft and feeling like a mad freak that would never amount to anything. Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.Audiobook's worth it - the prose is very plain and his accent's strong but clear. Fans only, but you should be a fan. As a parent, when it comes to some of the things you encountered – violent behaviour, the way young men can talk about sex – do you take hands-on role in terms of talking to your son about them?
