About this deal

Despite the early conclusion of a hard worker who dreamed to be the best, the author cant hide his hate towards the player that whenever his opinion counts, he portrayed him as egoistic self centered man, i couldn't agree to his interpretation of the acts of Ronaldo on the day of Euro final, the author portrayed him as a spotlight stealer from the "coach" which is absolutely ridiculous way to end the book. Any football lover who has seen the final would've felt sorry for Cristiano irrespective of the way they see him. You know those cringy stories that Luca Caioli writes boldy to undermine the football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo? You should read the Guillem Balague one, the name sounds foreign, yes? No. The begining of the book and description of Ronaldo's upbringing was outstanding. I will give it that. There is clearly a meticulously researched look into Ronaldo's begining's and what he came from which broadly informs on his attitudes, good and bad, later in life. The childhood and Manchester united days are sweet and inspiring as most of the parts are the interviews of people who were actually involved in the players development. Nice work by Guillem Balague. Doesn't glorify the player, in fact provides what I consider a balanced and fair analytical account of Cristiano's life, thus far.

This is the story of the two-time Ballon d'Or winner, the first Premier League player to be named FIFA World Player of the Year, and winnter of the 2010–2011 Golden Shoe. A character I liked was Gary Neville. A former Manchester United player that in his later years played with Ronaldo. I liked him because he was very generous to the team but in particular Ronaldo as he was new to the squad. He was also a great player and played internationally for England. Ronaldo: The obsession for perfection by Luc caioli is about a famous soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro. Ronaldo was he new star of footballing history because of his age and he surprised lots of people on how he played. Ronaldo did have his ups and downs as all players do, because not every player is perfect. Media gave him pressure for a while because he was the next big hit. After he overcome that he was brilliant. Ronaldo won 2 best European based player in the world in a row, 2 FIFA world player of the year awards and UEFA best player award. It is hard to believe but after 5 years at Man U he was transferred to one of the best clubs in the world for a huge price of 94 million pounds. This was the biggest transfer in history of football. Ronaldo was transferred to Real Madrid. Non farò l’errore di dire che non potrò vivere senza il pallone. Ma non riesco a immaginare una vita senza allenamenti, senza il campo, senza una partita, senza l’adrenalina e l’eccitazione della competizioneWe all know that Ronaldo can have attitude, can be selfish on the pitch, and often can be easily worked up and irritated. That doesn't take away from the fact of his talent and skill and sadly, the majority of this book focuses on the author's clear disgust at Ronaldo's personality and mostly ignors/does not balance the book with any praise for his good qualities (such as unrivaled work ethic, care for his family, etc...). What good qualities are mentioned, are mostly only done so in the context of "he only developed "x" quality because of a negative "y" circumstance, quality, or trait. E' una biografia nata da una profonda ricerca, in cui Balague si è fatto guidare per le vie di Madeira, Lisbona, Machester, Madrid e infine Torino.

obsession with perfection” since he started playing. He’s always practicing and lifting weights to make himself stronger. This obsession carries from the practice field to the game field in everything he does in being a soccer player. As a youth, he played for Andorinha. He debuted for Sporting CP at the age of 17. He was bought by Manchester United as the most expensive teenager in history. While playing for Manchester United, he was bought by Real Madrid for the most expensive transfer fee in history. Lastly, his life in the current club, Real Madrid and to be spotted as one of the best players in the world. After receiving his second best player of the year award at Man U he said to media that it was no time to stop. In 2013 he won his third Best European Based player in the world and also the following year in 2014.

The character development is represented as he states one of the best players he played with and his special thanks for Sir Alex Ferguson. Revealed the inside stories of events in CR's life. Basically it's all i want from reading such a biography. A nice read for one who's followed him from Man Utd days. I enjoyed this book because I was able to relate to a lot to what was going on as I play football myself like Ronaldo. I think there was a lot of very interesting knowledge on Ronaldo that without reading this book I would have never gained. The best part about the book was starting with a chapter that is a short biography of his mother, Dolores. I knew a lot of stuff about Ronaldo before I started to read this book, but there is a lot of stuff that i didn't know before i started reading. I didn't know that he scored over 300 goals. I also didn't know he has won the Ballon d'Or(2008), FIFA World Player of the Year (2008), European Golden Show (2008, 2011), and so many more than this. This book captures Ronaldo at his peak with Real Madrid.
