About this deal

Heading into M&S to get my hands on all of the Percy Pig goodies I could, I had no idea just how many things you could get featuring the little pink pig. I'm very excited for a day of eating only savoury food tomorrow with not a drop of sugar to be seen, not even in my coffee. I took on the challenge of eating Percy Pig food all day long - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between (Image: SussexLive) In news that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, I don't think I'll be doing that for a very long time.

Each day we'll be sending you a selection of our top stories from across our county, as well as breaking news so you can be the first to know. It was definitely down to the fact that the cupcake and the biscuits themselves were made from a normal plain batter and hadn't been Percy-fied with that pink, sugary taste that's now so disgusting to me. What I had: Percy Pig pancakes, Percy Pig dessert sauce, Percy Pig original sweets, Percy Pig phizzy pop Of course I realise the cupcakes wouldn't be Percy Pig-themed at all was the little pig not sat atop the icing but you can understand that I never want to see or eat him again, at least not for a while. When I came to have lunch, I realised I'd left about half a glass of the phizzy pop for breakfast so I took it to finish off with my pizza. Still, even without the ice cream, there's so many Percy things available I managed to get enough to last me for an entire day. I then washed it down with the 'phizzy pop', another item I believe is relatively new to the range. I have officially put myself off of Percy Pigs for the time being and I can't stomach the little guy anymore. Lunchtime called for me to dig out yesterday's big creation - the 'Percy-fied pizza' (Image: SussexLive)

At this point I think I am 50 per cent Percy Pig. All I have eaten today is pink sweet stuff and my taste buds are crying out for something savoury, but no. As we head into the evening and the end of this challenge nears, I could not stomach washing down my dinner with the phizzy pop and I am now drinking litres of water to nourish my body after a day full of sugar. This is how much of the Percy pizza I had left when I came to cut myself two slices for lunch (Image: SussexLive) I can't take credit for this alone as I saw someone take on this challenge on TikTok recently and I had no idea how they pulled it off. I absolutely loved the Percy and Penny biscuits, M&S biscuits like these were a treat for me as a child and there's always been something about the little hints of icing they pop on top mixed with the crunchy biscuit base.

Obviously this had to be served up on a pink plate, and the flavoured fizzy drink went into a champagne flute to add to the luxurious weekend brunch vibe, because an entirely pink, pig sweet-themed breakfast is the height of elegance. I was also pleasantly surprised by the 'phizzy pop' - I'm not a fizzy or sugary drink person and exclusively use them as a mixer but again the flavour was subdued and didn't taste too sweet or sugary at all. With a text sent to my PT warning her not to worry if my meals for the day looked strange, I constructed myself a tower of three Percy Pig pancakes, topped with the dessert sauce, sweets and strawberries. For lunch, it was a 'here's one I made earlier' meal as I cut myself a couple of slices of the Percy Pig pizza cookie I baked yesterday in preparation for today's challenge. Most importantly, they had zero traces of the actual taste of Percy Pig, it was just a plain biscuit with coloured icing and I lapped it up after a day of pancakes and pizza deliberately created with the same flavour as the original sweets.
