Our Nordwand pants are equipped with both fast-drying panels and stretch panels for ventilation. The perfect mix between durability and flexibility. Smaller waist than other RR XL trousers for some reason by about an inch. Material also feels stiff and not flexible. To test their products, I decided to prepare a 20km hike through the forest and dunes of the Waterleidingduinen, on the Netherlands’ western coast. The hike presented a mix of dirt and sandy paths as well as cross-country hiking through the woods. Breathable, pre-shaped knees and soft fabric where it needs to be. I was afraid the trousers would feel tough before being broken in but this wasn’t the case. FeaturesThese trousers (as most trousers from RevolutionRace) are available in 16 colours! I love this as it allows you to be very creative with your colour choices. Summary of my experience Avoid using fabric softener and never use it on shell garments or other water-repellent clothing, as this clogs the pores of the fabric and impairs breathability.
