This subject poses no downside for me and in those last fifteen years of reading about connections, hope and vortex energy, that gave me a deeper understanding to the validity of this topic. Overall, similar to Tia-Clair Toomey’s book, its a cash grab capitalising on their popularity without adding any captivating stories and interesting secrets in the book or audiobook. The only positive I can give is that the audiobook is narrated very well by Mat Fraser. Diagrams of performing specific movements were useful when it highlighted things that Mat does differently to the conventional movement pattern. But some were just re-iterating common movement standards. My husband of 35 years, my soulmate, died two and a half years ago. I found Matt Fraser's personal experiences connecting with the spirit of loved ones who have crossed to the other side extremely comforting. I started to read this book as someone slightly skeptical of anyone's ability to get messages from spirits, but Matt managed to convince me. I appreciated Matt's words of warning regarding mediums who can be unscrupulous. I was comforted by Matt's assurances that spirits want us to continue to live a purposeful and happy life and that we can still ask and receive help from them.

My mother gave me this book to explain her "belief system" as I've been going through a journey of discovering faith for myself. I'll do my best to keep this short, but don't let my two-star rating deter you if you're interested in this book. Coming into this, and already knowing a lot of info about psychic mediums (growing up my mother adored watching shows about them, reading books, etc.), I don't think there was a ton of new info to gain. If you're completely new and want to learn more, this is a pretty decent means of explaining what they are and can "do" per say. And what if I don't want to use ButcherBox meat? Why is this the only name-brand used? If you're paid to use them, great, say so. But if not, you'd better say why their beef is worth it, yes? Currently Matt is booked out five years for private readings and cannot take any new clients at this time.Through this book, I realized that I might never have all my questions fully answered. The mysteries of what lies beyond this life are vast. However, that's not necessarily a source of despair. Yes! Your friends and family can attend with you as long as you are all on the same computer with each other.but hear me out. I love Mat Fraser and there’s some great stories in this book. If you’re serious about CrossFit this is a must read. If you’re interested in the mindset of humans performing at the top of their field I’d also recommend. I have never written a review on here, but, not unlike Prince Harry, I am breaking my silence. I initially gave this book a rating of three stars, but upon further reflection, I could not live with myself. This book was not good. I feel extremely fortunate that I was able to see Matt Fraser perform at a show in Canada several weeks ago. He is a super ball of energy, has a great sense of humor, loads of talent, empathy and compassion. I went hoping to have him call out to me in the audience regarding a recent loss I had; but to no avail. He looked at me twice right in the eyes, but walked away. I understand that the person I hoped to connect with was not ready to speak to me yet. There's nothing necessarily provocative or tea-spilling to be found, which is pretty cool, as most of the content is focused on providing the reader with technique tutorials, workouts, and surely tasty meal instructions (which are parsed out quite evenly throughout as opposed to being just an appendix). Matt's coaching on creating a vision board, on possitive affirmations, on daily gratitude were all things I know sets a person up for happiness. Matt did an excellent job outlining how to do these activities and illuminating the benefits. Also, if you’ve listened to Mat’s interview with Joe Rogan then you’ll be familiar with a lot of the stories in here!) This training manual, as Mat calls it, should be objective and ubiquitous with information and thematic ties to HWPO. That is what a training manual/ guide book is. Objective. Questions will be asked. Answers ought to be provided. And never, should one end a training manual section in a question.
