About this deal

In the case of the Benks model, some of the issue might be relieved had there been more weight in that rotating base. If it was a bit heavier, it might prevent the stand from tipping when the larger iPad is placed at an acute angle. But for now you’re going to have to live with the base leaning upwards and losing its stability if you use the stand with the iPad positioned low towards the surface. Reliable Compatibility: The magnetic iPad stand comes in 2 size options. 12.9" stand works perfectly for iPad Pro 12.9” 3rd Gen, and iPad Pro 12.9” 4th Gen, iPad Pro 12.9 2021 (5th Generation), iPad Pro 12.9" 6th Gen (2022); 11" stand works perfectly for iPad Pro 11” 1st Gen, iPad Pro 11” 2nd Gen, iPad Pro 11 2021 (3rd Generation), iPad Pro 11" 2022 (4th Generation), as well as iPad Air 4th, iPad Air 5th. The Benks Infinity Pro Magnetic iPad Stand is a really good looking stand. Made from aluminum, it’s a great match for Apple’s recent, angular iPad Pro lineup, with the Space Gray finish fit to have come from Cupertino’s own design teams. An iPad stand will help your posture and viewing comfort, or make typing or using a stylus much easier.

The Lululook iPad stand uses magnets to attach to an iPad Pro or an iPad Air, just like Apple's own Magic Keyboard. It aligns perfectly when the iPad is put in place, making the combo look like a miniaturized iMac all-in-one desktop computer. The process of attaching is as easy as snapping a compatible iPad Air or iPad Pro to the stand. The Benks Infinity Pro Magnetic iPad Stand is the successor to the company’s Infinity Magnetic stand, and it comes with a big difference – whereas its predecessor’s base was fixed, the Infinity Pro Magnetic Stand’s base rotates. It’s an excellent addition, but a weak lower hinge limits its usefulness a tad.

The stand has a shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, and the parts either bend or rotate depending on where they’re positioned. All these “joints” make the stand much more versatile than the rest of the competition. The Lamicall Tablet stand is an adjustable iPad holder that rotates 270 degrees to suit the angle that you need, making it ideal for use at the work desk or kitchen table. It comes with rubber cushions on the hooks to prevent the screen from getting scratched too. There’s lots to love about the Benks Infinity Pro Magnetic iPad Stand. It’s built with premium materials, can be folded down for easy storage or remote working, has a great array of positions and angles it can be set at, and is a nice match for Apple’s own hardware.

There are premium iPad stands out there that focus on build quality, such as the Twelve South Compass Pro and Satechi's Desktop Stand. These cost about half as much as CharJenPro's offering, though they aren't quite as advanced and still have a lower viewing angle. The Belkin Portable Tablet Stage Stand is sturdy and has an adjustable platform to position your iPad right where you can see it. It comes with a built-in system for tidying away cables, and you can use the Apple HD Adapter to connect your iPad to a projector or display. The stand comes with an app called Stage(available for iOS and Android)that acts as an interactive whiteboard and document camera. The magnetic attachment is very strong. Once the iPad is properly attached, there’s absolutely no way it’s going anywhere! However, you do need to exercise care at first to properly align the iPad.Rather than using this as a Mac hub (losing the iPad charging is a bit of a bummer in that scenario), it does present a rather awesome use case for anyone who wants to turn their iPad into a fully-fledged multiport device, complete with SD card slots, USB-A 3.1 inputs, and a 4K@60Hz HDMI output. I’m a huge fan of Benks. Their AirPods Max stand remains one of the most popular accessories I’ve ever reviewed, and for good reason: it looks and feels like Apple should have made it. The Twelve South Compass Pro can instantly shift between a viewing platform or a convenient stand to taking notes and typing on the iPad’s touchscreen in landscape mode. The gadget can fit most iPads in landscape or portrait mode. However, it can only accommodate the compact iPad mini in landscape mode, which is perfect for watching video or gaming with an external controller. Those were the words of CharJenPro’s co-founder, Charlie Yoo, when I confirmed that I’d be featuring his magnetic iPad stand in this review. The only other real qualm is that it still takes two hands to remove your iPad from the stand. The base is hefty, but no so much that you can remove your iPad with one hand. I expect this is down to the strength of the magnets needed to keep your heavy iPad in situ.
