About this deal

Another mystery of the dwarves is the advanced technology they supposedly possess. Evidence such as this had led me, despite the ridicule of my colleagues, to propose a new theory: Evan loves books and learning new things, and worries about starting middle school. His best friend Rafe has a huge spirit of adventure -- and really overprotective parents, whose sometimes-ridiculous rules he obeys out of respect. Evan's parents are kind, loving, and sometimes quirky -- Dad's a no-kill exterminator, and Mom spends her waking life very patiently doing tech support from home. Al, the ghostly assistant librarian, is often fearful but determined to do good things for others, and her ghostly friends, the librarian and her other friend who died in the fire, are a steady and helpful presence. Mortimer the cat, who herds mice rather than harms them, takes a protective interest in what's left of the library and its people, and also misses his long-lost sister.

Little Free Libraries” are very popular here in the US and perhaps other countries as well, ~ take a book and leave a book~ Here is the link if you want to start your own https://littlefreelibrary.org/ ! The two boys soon discover that the books are connected to an event that took place two decades ago, but no adult is willing to talk to them about it. What's everybody hiding?I liked the ghosts ( Yes, ghosts… plural!) in the book as they don’t fit into any typical ghost mould. The Crimsonfish lives in the warm ocean waters of summer. It's been sighted on the far eastern side of the beach. Superstars, Rebecca Stead and Wendy Mass, meet up again for The Lost Library. A story with such a warm, magical, reading world. I loved spending time with this book. And characters! Being a Great Reader has nothing to with reading great sophisticated books, or reading great long books, or even with reading a great many books.

The Lost Library is a cute little book with a lot of heart. The story is told from three alternating perspectives: Mortimer, the displaced library cat; Evan, a 5th grader looking to solve a mystery; and Al, about whom little can be said without giving away some major (if fairly predictable) plot twists. Our story begins with the creation of a Little Free Library and is a love letter to books and the bonds they forge between readers. More specifically, this is an ode to the importance of libraries, and it is lovingly rendered. We also take into account how old the book is when it is lost. If it's an old childrens picture book for instance, then you can either replace it yourself and bring it in, or even sometimes we just write it off. The Glacierfish, which only appears in winter, can be caught off the southern tip of arrowhead island in Cindersap Forest... near where the river meets the ocean.
