About this deal
Although the line's name is likely to cause some confusion, Funko Pop Icons is different from Funko Pop Ad Icons, which caters to commercial mascots. Funko Pop Icons honors some of the big names behind even bigger creations. Although Funko did not specify the scope of coverage for the set, the initial options are literary legends. Later releases move away from authors, including KFC's Colonel Sanders.

Collectors can also find figures for Theodor Geisel, a.k.a Dr. Seuss. Known around the world for his fanciful children's tales, the white-haired Seuss wears a bow tie with his all-gray suit and holds a copy of The Cat in the Hat. The many works of Seuss are also covered in Pop! form, including Dr. Seuss Books figures and The Grinch. Later releases include historical subjects in the American History subset, like George Washington and Ben Franklin. Many of these are exclusive to Target.
