About this deal

There's a slight lower treble boost, but this set is not sibilant and harsh in the upper treble. In fact it doesn't have that great treble extension and isn't an airy set. Trebleheads will probably not like this set. Mid Bass More elevated than sub-bass, not particularly fast not sloppy either. Definitely inlfuencing and often veiling both sub-bass and lowmids. The midrange performance in the Neon is stellar. This is THE reason you will want to get the Neon. Being a pair of mid-focused IEMs, the midrange is placed a step forward when compared with the bass and treble response. They also show a good sense of clarity and resolution in vocals and most musical instruments. The logo of KBEAR is shown on the cable Y-split.

While I want to talk more and write more, But English is not my first language, I post NA2+ and NM2+ and HANA in my Chinese review, if some one want to have a discuss, it is my pleasure. Attachments This is also the same for SPiCYSOL's "Mellow Yellow", mostly hearing it but it does not go low. It also tends to be drowned out by the rest of the instruments and vocals when it gets into the chorus. The coherency of the sound is amazing in the Believe and that’s the thing I always like in the single DD iem’s because they never fail to do that. Believe does a good job in bringing all the frequencies in a single motion and it’s a pleasant treat to the ears. This is a mid-centric IEM akin to the HD600 series. Treble doesn’t sparkle at all and there is little to no sub bass, but the mids really shine. I have a drawer full of dozens IEM’s in which many cost many times these do, but if I was looking for a female vocal emphasis and a generally neutral sound, I would reach for these. Faye Wong’s Eyes on Me sound pretty good on the Neon. Bass – Lots of bass without muddying the sound. Punchy and mid-bass dominant. There is, surprisingly, sub-bass. But don’t expect a rumble. It’s audible and that in itself is a huge compliment for earbuds. It stays fairly controlled, tight and is very engaging. It is also way more textured than my other buds. I’d take this over my other flathead buds (not semi in-ear) if we’re talking about bass.

The KB EAR Neon provides a clean, solid, and refreshing option in the market for those who are tired of encountering similarly tuned earphones. Unlike most other IEMs around this price range, which generally have a V-shaped, warmer sound signature, the Neon successfully place the spotlight on the midrange. Worst of the three. The Tanya comes on top while giving a good impact and not smearing to the mids. E500 on the other has a tilt for warmth but things never bloat and nothing is over emphasized. KS1 has an issue with a one note bass where it bleeds to the mids. Quite blunt with the transient.

Want EVEN MORE Performance out of the KS1? Use spinfit CP145 tips and mod following this guide for smoother but still detailed treble and a more present mid range. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/kb-ear-audio-impressions-thread.912673/post-16297103 The KBEAR KS1 has a slightly more accurate timbral accuracy for acoustic instruments than the BLON BL-03, which also has excellent timbre, though I find the BLON BL-03’s timbre is quite coloured and a bit tubish. I would say both are analoguish sounding, the BLON BL-03 more so.Now with Kbear Believe , the bass extension is there but not much profound but it ain’t much clear too with my LG G8X..

Be that as it may, it seems that the Stellar, although cheaper, will definitely come in a cardboard box, instead of a simple plastic bag. They also come with a bag for storage, which for the price seems incredible. The KS1, a product of the KBEAR brand, is a recent release, not to be confused with the KS2, which has been on the market for a while now. KB EAR's latest single dynamic beauty, the KB Ear Aurora. Being a fan of their BElieve, I am excited to try this one. Anyone has hands on it yet, please share impressions. Treble is where KS1 has a bit of an edge. It doesn’t mean it excels. KS1 treble can be described as detailed but not piercing. E500 has a relaxed treble meanwhile Tanya has a hint of lower treble but nothing special up top. That is not to say, at reasonable volume levels, you will have a shouty presentation of the mids, because they are not tuned to focus on the mid range, to my ears.

Vocals and mids are probably my favourite part about this earbud. Female vocals are more forward than male ones, without being overly harsh. By and large it is very smooth and non fatiguing for me at moderate volumes. Details in the mids are actually quite good when amped, was surprised in this aspect. Nintendo 2DS XL - Sounds similar, but not as good as the N3DSXL. Less volume to spare as well. Treble is a bit peaky and not as spacious. E500 owns this part as well where both male and female sound very good on this set. KS1 on the other hand has a lower treble to dominate in vocals which give a perception of thinness and detail. Tanya is a bit mixed up depending on source as it can sound great with certain neutral source but recessed on certain sources; including Apple dongle usb C. In The Ear Since the Stellar uses Sennheiser's MX500 shell, there's nothing special to note here. The plastics used are of good quality, residing somewhere between the beautifully formed, dense plastic of the original VE Monk and the somewhat chinzy feeling Monk +. Fit and finish sits between the two as well with the original Monk having cleaner lines and more heft to it than the Stellar. Compared to the Monk+, the Stellar's opacity is cleaner and molding lines smoother and less rough. The Monk+ has a cooler logo though thanks to it's 8-bit style font. The mid-bass is more emphasised and for me it is the quality of the bass which stands out, it does not overwhelm, so that it is not thumpy or lumpy, it is smooth and relaxing. Rap God – Eminem (he is a god of rap pretty much) – I could distinguish him and the music going behind and the lyrics!! But still his rap, makes me so hooked up I went on to listen to Airplanes part 2 and some more songs!! This doesn’t happen with tint2plus or any other iems except BLON 03 and hence Believe is pretty good The front and rear chamber balance pressure relief technology has been implemented to ensure a distorted sound output yet maintaining the natural sound output since the beryllium diaphragm is extremely light.
