It's cheap, and it shows, but it cools I bought this to try out a cheap air conditioning unit for the odd days when it gets really hot here in SE England. It's not often, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. COMPACT, WITH WHEELS: Small, but mighty. This air conditioning unit can fit into smaller areas with ease. Goes slower of faster too, depending on what suits

Even better, this HOMCOM unit comes with four modes: cool, dehumidify, ventilate and sleep - so it's easy to keep yourself cool the way you want. Also comes with two speeds. The LED panel displays the current running setting - but if far away you can also control with the remote. There's a removable filter you can clean, keeping the air as fresh as possible. Comes with an exhaust hose and water doesn't have to be drained. NOTE: Can only be used for sliding door windows, the exhaust hose is required to connect inside and outside when installing. If the mobile air conditioner can not be cooled, stand for 24 hours before turning it on In operation it is LOUD! It is within a couple of dB of the rated noise level but this is distractingly loud in a quiet room and I can't imagine trying to fall asleep with it on in a room (maybe with earplugs). The relaxed images in the advert are clearly fake! Then you move it a bit and there is a really annoying vibration of one of the side panels, and you have to move it again to change the weight balance and stop the vibration.
