About this deal

I have no idea how the internals of a mouse work or how the sensor works... but if I had to guess, I feel like the sensor isn't getting enough power to it sometimes? Maybe the battery they use is just cheap or something and the sensor isn't receiving the power it needs properly. I don't know, but I don't have this issue on any other wireless mouse I own. This is pure speculation however as I said, I don't really know how it works. I should also note that I keep my mouse turned on all the time and I charge my mouse every single day when I go to bed at night so it shouldn't be a low battery issue.

This mouse creaks a lot. It isn't quite as bad as the creaking on like the aerox 3 wireless... but this mouse still definitely creaks. There is a visible gap between the metal sides and the plastic bottom plate. When squeezing the sides of the mouse even just a bit, you can push the sides in until they touch the bottom plastic plate. You can feel it creak in your hand a bit and you can feel the walls push in. Again, this is the medium sized starlight-12, I can't say for certain if the small is the same. I imagine with a smaller more compact design, that could lead to it being a little more sturdy. The medium does seem to have this issue though. In the end though, mouse accuracy is down to muscle memory with your mouse and sensitivity, whether you have a weightless mouse or a bowling ball, if you’re used to it and good with it, all the power to you. What about heavy mice? I will say though, shoutouts to the people on the Finalmouse discord. Most of the people there are... interesting to say the least, but lots of the people in the repair chat genuinely are trying to help and have great advice. If anything, there's always at least some nice people working with them. The cable, sensor and build quality are all there and offer a fantastic value given the Skoll Mini’s budget pricing. There are some concerns with quality control of the shell and gaps, the buttons and scroll wheel have shown some wobble.

The Razer DeathAdder Mini brings the much loved ergonomic shape to a smaller handed audience as the OG is a fairly large mouse. There are some quality control concerns with Finalmice, some people have had scroll wheels break or have creaky weak points in the shell. The sensor also only runs at 500 hz. To no one's surprise, this mouse was a let down. My overall impression of the mouse has been getting lower and lower, and although this mouse is perhaps my best performing mouse at the moment, it says a lot when I'm looking more forward to finding a better mouse, than continuing to use this one (Viper Mini Ultimate anyone?). Yes, I've put a lot of hours into this mouse, but for being a "mouse that will last generations," the generation that this mouse is lasting seems to be awfully short.Moving onto today and it's still mostly the same but the button wobble got a bit worse. I ended up having to do some mods to maintain it in a better state, but that led to its own issues (see Mods section for more details). I'm not going to give the shape a rating because people will know their own preference. I fingertip and compared to the Delux M800, it has a much more flat shape similar to the Razer Viper Ultimate. I definitely like this mouse more than the RVU, both for weight, feeling, and shape for me. In comparison to the other mice I've tried, I'd say it's my second favorite fingertip shape to date only beaten by the G305. Nothing special to write home about, though. Glorious improves on their original Model O with improved build quality and shrunken down shape made for claw and fingertip grips. Build quality was very good when I first got my hands on it. Overall no creaking, no flex, slight mouse button wobble, slight side button wobble, and side button rattle (if I shook it like I wanted it dead). Crooked scroll wheel on my copy as well. It never bothered me but it was definitely one of those "seriously?" things at this price point. A lot of these were basically "meh" things, but in collection together it does reduce how much I liked it.
