Blade life depends on the material being cut, the harder the material the shorter the blade life will be. Evolution only uses premium, Japanese sourced carbide in our saw blades. It’s better finished, tougher and longer lasting than more commonly used carbide grades. All Evolution Table Saws can cut Mild Steel and Non-ferrous metals with the supplied Multi-material blade. If you want to cut Aluminium, 304 Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper and other non-ferrous metals choose one of our material-specific metal cutting blades. Have just had my first ever table saw delivered, an Evolution Rage5-S. tried cutting some wood today but after a certain length along the blade the wood becomes almost impossible to push any further. Does anyone have any idea what the cause of this could be. It's clearing the riving knife so that's not the problem.
