When you roll doubles - the same number on both dice - you may, if you wish, use magic by invoking ONE of the powers below: Roll both dice and advance your mover up to the number rolled. Your mover may not share a space with another player's mover, but you may move it past another mover, still counting that space. I am seeking among you a subject-wise and clever enough to succeed the throne. I am hereby challenging each and every one of you to embark on an adventuresome quest throughout our Enchanted Forest to find three fabled treasures.
While searching for the treasures, don't forget to watch the moves of other players. Don't make it too easy for them to reach the castle with what may be knowledge of the right treasure. Looking at Enchanted Forest you would think that it is a children’s game. The game feels like it was made for children but it can be enjoyed by adults as well. The game is really simple to learn since all there is to the game is remembering the locations of the items and rolling the dice. The game’s theme should appeal to children. Young children should have no trouble playing the game should enjoy it. At the beginning of each game you open the large board out (it is twice the size of the box and measures roughly 37cm x 53cm) and put the trees on the blue tree icons without anyone knowing which treasure is hidden where. Each player chooses a coloured, wooden playing piece and places it near the star space in the village. The treasure tiles are mixed up and placed face down in the castle courtyard with only the top tile face up. Enchanted Forest a classic game for a reason and I actually think part of that is the game’s simplicity. It’s easy for children to understand and work to beat the adults which is always a winner. It’s great for developing children’s memory and strategy skills. When they begin to see the long game and remember where all of the pieces are and how to get the most amount of treasure. Gifted) Enchanted Forest by Ravensburger is a magical game which references many of our best loved fairy tales. It is recommended for ages 4 and up and competitive players will love to race around the board finding treasure before everyone else to complete the King's challenge and become his royal successor. I bought and played this tonight with 4 players. We took about 2 hours with 3 clue cards (6/10 star finish rating). We enjoyed it. I thought the final puzzle was stretching it a bit for what was required, but I guess now I know what to look out for in the future. If the two star difficulty tripped us up this much, I imagine the higher level ones are impossible for our feeble brains.Design duo Inka and Markus Brand have teamed up with KOSMOS to create Exit, a series of thinky escape rooms. In this approach you systematically visit all/most of the trees hoping to remember the locations of the different items. If you have a decent memory you should be able to remember at least one side of the forest which will give you an advantage in the game. This means that you will be able correctly guess over half of the cards. Knowing half the forest give you an advantage for items you don’t know since you know that they must be on the other side of the forest. You then either know where to search or you can end up making an educated guess.
