Every one of our cushion inners are filled to a plump finish and are carefully stitched to ensure they are strong and keep the fillings from protruding through, achieving the perfect balance of comfort and support that will last for years.Do you want to be able to shape your cushions and give them the karate chop (feather-filled inserts) or do you want them to look the same all the time (eco-filled inserts)? Measuring 45 X 18 X 2.5 inches, this cushion fits most standard-sized outdoor benches and swings. A 100-percent polyester fiber filling gives this cushion a plush and cozy feel. The fabric is UV- and weather-resistant, which prevents it from fading and losing its firmness. Built-in ties are a helpful feature, keeping the cushion securely attached to your outdoor furniture. The cover is reversible, so you can flip it over without changing the look of your space. Although the cover is not removable for washing, it can be spot cleaned as needed with mild soap and warm water. Make sure the top two corners of the insert go all the way to the very corners of the cushion cover.

The feather filling will flatten and mould to you when you lean on them. To keep your cushions looking plump you will need to "fluff" them up regularly.Cushions go flat over time and use the type of filling that is in the cushion dictates how flat and when the cushion will go flat. You can stop cushion from appearing in the flat by regularly fluffing or replace the cushion at the appropriate time. Eco filling is made from recycled water bottles. The Eco fibre feels and performs the same way as high-grade polyester fibre but every cushion insert saves 25-35 plastic bottles from ending up in land fill. That's good for the environment. Gently manoeuvre the cushion insert inside the cover. Be gradual and gentle. If you force the insert in, you can tear the stitching or break the zip. Plump cushion inserts like ours take a little time and care to put them in. This superior high density foam, soft to medium hardness, offers instant recovery after use and consistent shape retention over many years. Excellent for armchair cushions and sofa cushions. Virgin hollow is a synthetic man made fibre with a mechanical crimp to give excellent loft and resilience. Each strand has a hole down the centre which traps air and warmth and produces loft. When we card the fibres from the mill in our machine it transforms into a soft fluffy material.

Olefin (polypropylene) is stain- and water-resistant. It also offers some protection against UV rays, which means it’s less likely to fade than polyester. Since olefin is cheaper to produce than Sunbrella, you may find that products made with olefin cost less than similar products made with Sunbrella. The biggest downside of olefin is that it can heat up and even melt in extreme temperatures.
