About this deal

The filament has a diameter of 1.75mm and an ideal printing temperature of 210°C. In addition, the filament does not shrink during cooling and with this ultra-strong PLA you will hardly suffer from warping. For best results, print with a heated bed at a temperature between 60°C and 80°C. This transparent acrylic coil holder kit is ideal for setting up your filament coils if your printer does not have a coil holder. The holder is provided with a smooth steel tube to place the roll of filament on. Not suitable for coils heavier than 1kg. The 75ml PLA glue from 3DGloop has been specially developed for attaching 3D printed material. This very high quality American glue is extremely suitable for PLA filament. Although this glue is specially intended for attaching 3D prints, you can also fix your object inseparably to a glass plate or mirror. For the strongest and most reliable filament adhesion, choose 3DGloop. PLA+ filament is easier to print than ASA but offers slightly worse mechanical properties. It’s recommended to use an enclosure for ASA filament to ensure high-quality prints, but not strictly necessary for PLA+. PLA Tough is comparable in strength to ABS (one of the strongest filament types), but is just as easy to print with as PLA. Ideal for industrial applications where a lot of force is applied to the printed object. Think of tools or parts for your 3D printer.

This masking tape creates ideal print surfaces for your 3D prints. PLA and PETG filaments adhere well to the fine structure of this adhesive tape. Because PLA is easier to print and less expensive, it’s the better option for beginners who want a seamless printing experience at a cheaper price. It’s also ideal if you’re very environmentally conscious. Carbon Fiber - An extremely useful material, carbon fiber can be added to PLA to give it more resistance to impact and prolonged loads, making it much stronger than PLA on its own. Can PLA be recycled? Note: PLA and PETG sometimes adhere so well in combination with 3DLAC Plus that they are a bit difficult to remove.

There are many different PLA blends available, although adding materials to PLA can make 3D printing more difficult and even reduce the physical properties of PLA. Filamentive have been shortlisted for the 2023 Sustainability in Additive Manufacturing award by 3D Printing Industry. The Sustainability in Additive Manufacturing category recognises additive manufacturing applications or processes that contribute to... AWIN, Sovendus, Meta-Pixel, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, creativecdn.com (RTBHouse), Ads Defender PLA+ is an enhanced version of regular PLA filament, containing special additives that boost the material’s mechanical properties. PLA+ offers much better strength, heat resistance, and layer-to-layer adhesion over conventional PLA, but it will also costs more.

The foaming ratio and strength can be adjusted as desired by adjusting the printing temperature. Between 210℃ and 270℃, this material will foam when printing. This will increase the volume almost 1.2 times. The extrusion can be reduced by up to 45% to print lightweight parts. Due to the foaming ratio of 220%, 55% less material is used per part than when using regular PLA. This way you achieve a part of the same size but with less weight. The active foaming technology creates practically invisible layers. At Filamentive, we are committed to championing sustainability in 3D printing. Today, we're thrilled to share that our Managing Director, Ravi Toor, has been selected to be a part of the esteemed 3D Printing Industry Expert Committee for Sustainability in Additive... PLA filament remains the number one material choice for 3D printer users, thanks to its availability, ease of printing and sustainability. With PLA being the filament of choice for 3D printing UK users, it has become the base material for many different types of...Polylactic acid, or PLA, is easily the most popular filament material for 3D printing. But have you heard of its cousin, PLA+?
