In May 2021, it was announced that Kentaro Miura, creator of the Berserk manga series, had died. Young Animal released a statement, disclosing the details and shared a message from the editorial team, which paid tribute to Miura. Three winners will be drawn at random from qualified entries. Each winner will receive one copy each of Berserk Deluxe Edition Volume 1, 2, and 3. In 1990, the first volume Berserk was released with a relatively limited success. Miura again collaborated with Buronson on manga entitled Japan. Miura's fame grew after Berserk began "The Golden Age" story arc and the huge success of this masterpiece made of him one of the most prominent contemporary manga artists. Hakusensha, Dark Horse, and Glénat are commemorating the occasion with a Berserk illustration in major newspapers in all three countries: Asahi Shimbun, The New York Times, and Le Monde. The final chapter of Berserk, Chapter 364, saw posthumous release in Japan last September, though this will be the first official release for the English-speaking West.
