So much as I've been wanting to see a Ken merman, I took a pass on that one. Now, they release this gem, and he's exactly what I've been longing for!

We've had the pleasure of designing mermaid dolls for Barbie Signature before, but this is our first merman, and we made sure his radiant tail would glimmer from every angle, with rose golden scale details and iridescent fins. You'll even see those fins attached to his forearms as well! Barbie in A Mermaid Tale was initially released on DVD on March 9, 2010 with a Wide Screen Enhanced (16x9) format. This may be a reference to the mermaid Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid.
