About this deal

By just strolling through the (hidden) advanced BIOS settings, I found a bunch of settings for the CNVi interface. It made me suspect that there might be a way to get an AX200 working (or perhaps even a AX201). The BIOS offers a bunch of settings for the CNVi interface, including a disable option. Maybe in that way the VNCi interface can turned into a normal PCIE interface.

Apart from wifi 6, I also have a wifi 5 router TPlink C8 which also worked fine before, on average it can get speeds of up to 1.3gbps. So I am using AX210 #1 (in the NVME adapter) for wifi only (future proof, waiting for wifi-6E equipment to become available). What mean for you "manully shutdown", "manually restart" - I usually go at Windows icon then Power -> Restart/Shutdown. I have another older notebook but the wifi card has been replaced using the AX210, it doesn't show the same symptoms as the AX201. I bought just now AX201NGW ,and have a doubts it will work ,but too late to return its on delivery stage already.

Hi, thanks for your input. You may be right with HP, but for me, as a company, no worries at all. Their contractors, though, may be an issue. See chapter 3 of the service manual for the list of supported wifi cards with their HP part numbers... I'm not very technologically inclined and I'm having a really hard time understanding what to fix here.

Now I am considering to upgrade my home wifi network from AC to AX. Therefor, I would like to build an Intel AX201 (CVNio2), or perhaps an AX200 in my laptop. Dual band: 2.4G hz / 5Ghz (160Mhz) Speed up to 2.4G bps (The router must on 160Mhz, 802.11 ax); Speed of 2.4 Gbps on the 5 GHz (160 MHz) band and around 574 MB/s using 2.4 GHz band ( 802.11 ax in both). With Bluetooth 5.0, Support MU-MIMO? You're going to need a small M2 screw and washer to hold down the card. The local hardware store likely has them. I got one about 3/4" longtwo possibilities ..... or it is too attenuated (I see it oscillating between -73 dbm and -80dbm from my office ...

Despite that its bluetooth part will still function normally. Because it runs as a "separate entity" through the USB lines of the minPCIe/CNVi slot. With a focus on innovation and technology leadership, Intel continues to play a significant role in shaping the future of computing and technology. I have a Dell Optiplex 7090 with AX201 network adapter, been having problems lately, at least 3 months of this. I have a huawei AX3 Wifi 6 router, before it was working fine, usually got 2.1gbps speed, suddenly AX201 dropped. I have a notebook with AX201 showing similar symptoms.
