JL Mac, you are one cruel, cruel, cruel woman…for about the first 15% of this book I was sobbing my heart out…talk about intense…and the words….the way the first part of this book was worded was gripping and very very clever!!!! Grams and Brian liven this book up with their humour and gayness…I love them both dearly as if they were my own (big hugs)!! When I hear it in the males POV I'm not as bad. But if there is no grovelling or even retribution, then I can't let it go.I liked this story, it was devastating but written incredibly well by Aly Stiles, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I wasn't able to empathize with Camden in a very deep level but I still recommend to read it and to meet this very criptic man. When you were mine, you made everything better. You made my life better. You made me better. You have been my medicine. You made the hurt disappear. My past is one that I can never escape, I know this now. It makes me abundantly aware that loving him can be painful as hell, but being without him is hellish agony. He’s just being a decent guy by offering her a temporary place to stay. His mama raised him right, after all.
