About this deal

minutes later I feel like I don't smell it much past my skin, and it's got much more of a dirty scent to it, maybe the white tobacco and patchouli. It's not very sweet anymore and I'm not sure how much I like it now, it almost smells like someone cooking a savory sweet dish? Boyfriend also agrees now it no longer smells sweet.

I layered Molecule 01 over this and it does boost it’s longevity and added a sharp sherbet lemon scent, which almost toned down the musky sweetness that Bon Bon seems to develop into on my skin. Cecile Matton and Serge Majoullier, the perfumers behind the original, also signed Bonbon Couture. The nuanced and sensual oriental-gourmand composition of the new edition begins with a juicy combination of mandarin, neroli oil and peach. Its creamy heart notes include white flowers such as orange blossom and Sambac jasmine, sweetened by a potent caramel note. The base is defined by a woody accord of sandalwood and patchouli, with vanilla and blonde tobacco. No, this is definitely not the most innovative scent on the planet, BUT not everything has to be and this does its thing really well. It‘s more intense than the EDP, but not loud overwhelming. Everything is blended so smoothly, there is nothing screechy in this, no sharp artificial smelling vanilla or scratchy florals, just comforting warmth and juicy fruits. It‘s not a literal foody scent though, it does smell like a perfume. For some reason it reminds me a little of my B&BW Snowflakes & Cashmere lotion, like a more refined version of the same concept. They would layer well.

If I didn‘t already have several caramel scents of different kinds, I would get a bottle. If you still need a pretty fruity caramel, I recommend Bonbon Couture.

I like the original Bonbon. I like its smooth candy sweetness and milky dry down. By comparison, Bonbon Couture is a much heavier and somewhat sweeter scent. It lingers longer, but isn't as comfy and friendly as the original. Perhaps it's because my skin tends to take patchouli and send it screaming, but on me, Bonbon Couture smells like Bonbon forgot to take a shower. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, I kind of like this naughty Bonbon, but I prefer the clean fruity caramel scent of the original. Orange, mandarin, and peach make up the top notes of this fragrance. These follow through with middle notes of dreamy jasmine, orange blossom, and caramel. As these float away, they reveal the base of the warm note of amber, guajacum wood, exotic sandalwood, and cedar. If your signature is sweet, then the combination of notes in this perfume makes it a good option. Viktor & Rolf Fragrance: Price UK I must've been trying this out of it's prime season because I used to really dislike this a lot. I'm smelling it again now and it smells so dang good! Sweet peach, luscious caramel, ohh it's delightful! I live in Minnesota and for some reason I never ever smell perfume on anyone here, ever! I don't know if Minnesotans just like there scents discreet or if they just aren't that into fragrance at all because honestly, I never smell perfumes on anyone! But I do get a lot of complaints and compliments on my perfumes cuz I douse myself in them and everyone knows I'm wearing fragrance at all times.so I've never smelled most scents until I've smelled them myself on me. This is what I expected VLJ to smell like but it missed the mark. Bon bon is a winner 🏆 Dutch fashion design duo Viktor&Rolf presents a new version of the cute and sweet Bonbon perfume from 2014 - Bonbon Couture - available from August, 2016. The "Haute Couture" reinterpretation of the fragrance is said to be a more intensive, luxurious and stronger version of the original with more prominent notes of caramel.
