We spent nearly a full year with our team developing the 20″ Venom to perfect not only the geometry of our frames but also to ensure these bikes look and feel close to many much higher priced bikes – making them the perfect entry level BMX.
The Street Sweeper frame is based upon a Jake Seeley signature frame. Jake is a great street rider from MA, USA. He's carved out a brilliant niche for himself in the street riding scene.The Venom Mini BMX brand was created after seeing a new craze of Mini BMX’s being handmade in Indonesia. We wanted to the make this cool new category of bikes accessible to all. We are proud to be one of the leading Mini BMX brands in the world, doing all that we can to help this category grow year on year – sponsoring pro riders to push these little bikes to their extremes – seeing many ‘world first’ stunts across the world. Venom as a company have been around since 2012 when the founders, a group of extreme sports enthusiasts, came across the original craze for mini BMX's being hand crafted in Indonesia. They immediately fell in love with them and set up Venom, which were arguably the first mass produced mini bmx's out there. BMX frames are usually sold in the same frame size with the different sized wheels attached. To go into more detail: riders under 4 feet tall should ride 16” wheels. Anyone up to 4 foot 10 should look at the 18” wheels and anyone taller should use adult BMX bikes. The end of the 1990s also saw the end of GT's concentration on just BMX bikes. After this, they went big and applied everything they'd learnt to the world of mountain biking. These new bikes were kitted out with super innovative, efficient i-Drive® suspension in the early 2000s.
Since then the bikes and teams have only got better. The Mongoose Jam had its debut at Camp Woodward in 2012. In 2016 Mongoose had one of the most talented pro cycling teams in the world and just a year later Pat Casey, is invited to join the USA freestyle BMX Olympic team for it's first showing at the 2020 Olympic games. Maintenance is very important with a new bike. After your first few rides, all your components will settle into your riding style. It's important to give your headset, chain and spokes a good tightening to get the longest lifespan out of your new steed.Flybikes sell several physics-based BMX bikes. There's the Neutron, Proton and Electron. My first good quality BMX was the Flybikes Neutron. It's been a wonderful bike ever since I bought it, perfect for my skill level. For those who don't know, I'm firmly in the intermediate category. In our Most expensive BMX bikes post the Street Sweeper was featured amount the best and most expensive. BMX bikes come in 3 different wheel sizes. Kids under 7 have the 16” wheel, 7 - 11 year old kids normally have the 18” wheel and all the best bmx bikes for adults will use the 20” wheel.
Although there are several styles of BMX bikes, from street to flatland and racing, these bikes are normally sold as either race bikes or freestyle bikes. Aluminum and chromoly is probably the most commonly material BMX bike frames. It is lighter than steel, improving maneuverability. Aluminum frames are also known for their stiffness, which provides a more responsive ride. However, aluminum is not as durable as steel. WeThePeople originally started developing and selling predominantly street bike frames but after so much success it's no surprise they have evolved into a company making bikes for all disciplines. Many companies design and build complete BMX bikes and many more that just manufacture bike components. Each company has its advantages and disadvantages. Our Pro model has been designed for the more serious rider and comes with 3 piece cranks as standard! We have finished the Pro Bike with a premium RAW finish. The Trapez is a very advanced freecoaster. This new design allows you to switch between regular cassette riding and freecoasters. Over recent years the technology of freecoasters has evolved enough to open the viability of riding them to more and more riders. There are two main sizes of BMX bikes: 18 inch and 20 inch. 18 inch BMX bikes are typically smaller and lighter, making them a great option for younger riders or those who are just starting out in the sport. 20 inch BMX bikes, on the other hand, are the most common size and are used by both amateur and professional riders. When riders get to the stage where they're ready to buy and ride a bike like this they're also commonly at the stage where they're wanting to build their own bike. Building a bike is advantageous in a lot of ways. You might end up spending a little more money but the amount of free-range you get when choosing your parts is invaluable. The chain and headset have been replaced on this year's bike. A high-quality Trebol headset, a stronger 510 chain and a new clean Trebol Bueno crankset without the inferior pinch bolt cranks have been brought in. The new headset is accompanied by bigger bars and a higher standover, both helping riding stability.It has been an exciting five years for our little bikes, partnering with some of the world’s best pro riders,
