I did wait until the set powered down on its own but there’s always some power left over within the batteries so that can explain away the extra half charge above the manufacturer’s specs. TOZO took a gamble, and I believe it's paid off really well. The TOZO Golden X1 wireless earbuds are of superior make and they perform wonderfully. It's hard to find LDAC and hi-res audio support in wireless earbuds, much less with this mix of specs. CALLS AND GAMES: The Tozo A1 puts your voice through clear enough in calls, but a bit too soft. Nearby and distant noise around you comes through very loud and overrules your voice, just like wind does. In terms of aesthetics, the earbuds do not look very appealing or high-tech. They are very susceptible to scratches and can damage easily. Fortunately, they are very easy to replace — because of their lower price tag. The Golden X1 set has a 50mAh battery inside each earbud and a reserve battery of 500mAh inside the cradle. TOZO claims a maximum of 8 hours and 32 hours total time. So I’m assuming you can get 4 full charges from one full charge of the cradle. On the front side, there’s what TOZO calls a breathing indicator which is an LED bar that shows the charging status by increasing the breathing effect speed as it approaches a 100% charge amount and becomes stagnant when at 100%. Battery life One feature that the TOZO Golden X1 cradle has going for it is the informative LED display on the inside by the pairing button and it’s something you don’t see all the time, particularly on budget TWS models.SOUND QUALITY: The T12 has the typical sound found on most Tozo's earbuds, but executes it the best. You'll find a warm and energetic sound, helped a strong, thumpy and surprisingly deep bass that will have your head nodding before you realise it - although, mind you, it can become too loose in bass-pushing songs. Lower-mids are boosted but not overpowering, giving music a pleasant warmth, and higher vocals are forward and pronounced, yet also well controlled so they don't become harsh. They're not too thin either: especially female and higher-pitched vocals can be quite appealing on this budget pair. The funny thing is that there is a wind reduction mode but it’s not as effective as its ANC counterpart at the same task. But at least you have a few to choose from and you can also make one of your own within the app if the factory presets don’t cut the mustard. Microphone System The compatible audio codecs the Golden X1 can run are AAC, SBC, and LDAC. Note that this set doesn’t run any aptX codecs so I suggest you keep that in mind. But if your device can run on LDAC you’re golden, no pun intended.
With that being said, there’s no way that the TOZO NC2 can replace the Apple AirPods Pro. The Apple AirPods are still the king of sound quality, comfort, and design, especially on some of the more subtle aspects like touch control settings and human hearing sensitivity.

Sound preferences are subjective, and TOZO took this into account. The TOZO app offers users extensive customizability and options. There is a hearing test within the app that uses your data to enhance your listening experience. Of course, there's a dynamic equalizer that can be customized and has loads of presets. You can customize the sound signature according to please your personal tastes. What would one call the TOZO Golden X1 earbud design? I’d say hybrid half bean, half stem. The half-stem statement in particular fits it well because the stem is not a long one and is just a stub.
