A mini artillery piece unit it’s a little different in that you buy the rapier carrier and it comes with 2 space marine gunners, then you can add up to 2 more carriers to the unit and for each carrier you get 2 more gunners. They have a special rule Legion Artillerists which makes the unit immune to pinning so long as there’s a carrier and gives the marines +1LD. To shoot with a rapier carrier you need to have at least one marine gunner alive in the unit per carrier, so if you have 2 carriers then you need to have at least 2 gunners left alive to shoot with both, if you have only one gunner then you can only fire with one carrier. This does make wound allocation sort of funny, and hard to know when to allocate to the carrier vs allocating to a gunner. That said, the carrier only has 2 wounds while each gunner has 1 so any sort of significant shooting will likely just remove all of them at once anyways! Created during the Great Crusade by their Primarch Vulkan, the Firedrakes were so-named for the greatest of the salamander saurids said to originate beneath the stones of Mount Deathfire. The Deathshroud were the elite Space Marines of the Death Guard Legion who served as the Primarch Mortarion's mute Honour Guard during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.Once chosen, the selected Battle-Brother would foreswear his former life as a common rank-and-file Astartes of the XIV th Legion, and would swear binding oaths of secrecy as a new member of the secretive Deathshroud. Each member of the Deathshroud would be listed as killed in action to allay any suspicions as to their true identity, and they would forever conceal their faces behind heavy enclosed helmets, masks or hoods. This specialty formation is also found amongst those Space Marine Chapters who are Successors of the original I st Legion, which are collectively known as the Unforgiven. The Deathwing's mission takes precedence over all others, even though they may be called upon to fight a wide range of foes. These stoic warriors' presence was quite intimidating as when not in motion they would stand uniformly at attention, still as statues. But in battle they were equally frightening, for whatever the odds, they always moved inexorably towards their target, as unerring as the automated killing machines employed by the Legio Cybernetica. Some members of the Deathwing may know the identity of those they fight, while others are unaware they were once loyal Dark Angels, but all members of the Dark Angels 1 st Company, and indeed the 1 st Company of every Unforgiven Chapter, know that the Fallen are the vilest of Heretics and must be persecuted above all others. The hulking Contemptor Dreadnought is an iconic unit for Space Marines in the Age of Darkness, and with good reason. This adaptable war machine can be armed to complement any playstyle – like to stand off and shoot? It can do that. Would you rather get up close and personal? No worries. Prefer a mix of both? The Contemptor has you covered.

Terminator Armour, created just before the outbreak of the Horus Heresy, is incredibly rare. Space Marines hold it a great honour to be permitted to wear such a suit in battle, and it is only to members of the Chapter's elite 1st Company who have earned the status of Veterans that this honour is granted. Heavy Flamer or Reaper Autocannon (As replacement for Combi-bolter for 1 Tartaros Terminator for every 5 in squad) The Scarab Occult were all members of the elite 1 st Fellowship, under the command of 1 st Fellowship Captain Ahzek Ahriman. These proud and extremely devoted warriors were both combat veterans and highly-ranked members of the psychic mastery cult system of the Thousand Sons. None of the Sekhmet were below the Cult grade of Philosophus, the final Cult rank a warrior could hold before facing the Dominus Liminus.
