Type Covers are available for different languages and alphabets. To see what Type Covers are available in your preferred language or alphabet, visit Microsoft Store for that region or language. You can set up your Surface to use additional languages and keyboard layouts. For more info, see Manage display language settings in Windows and Change your keyboard layout. These settings are saved to your Surface and apply to any Type Cover that you attach.

Some accessories and software sold separately. Surface Pro Signature Keyboard and Surface Pro X Keyboard are sold separately. Only Surface Pro Signature Keyboard has Surface Slim Pen 2 storage and charging capabilities. If your Surface isn’t listed above—for example, if you have an older product like Surface RT—that means .msi update files are not currently available for that device. We recommend connecting to Windows Update to update those Surface models. Here’s how: Make sure the language you're using on your Keyboard (the Keyboard’s layout language) matches the one you're using on your PC (the display language). For best typing results, the Keyboard and display language should match.

To keep the material looking like new, gently wipe with a slightly damp, lint free white cloth (to avoid color transfer) or screen cleaning wipe.
