About this deal

This book follows Riley Stone who is a perfect model student. She presents evidence on why she is perfect and why she is the best student in the school. Riley has never gotten in trouble in her life. Riley is a logical character and really thinks things through.

These children were sequestered at the homes of mostly Christians (and not just Christians, but Righteous among the Nations Christians) for several years in Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany during the Holocaust. During this period, their parents instructed them never to mention that they were Jewish, and in one case, the mother drilled her daughter on the catechism so she could pass for Roman Catholic. I'll be discussing the twists in detail, so please turn away now if you're planning to read this book. Neta has that effect on men, since she’s basically a young Sofia Vergara. If she weren’t so nice and if I were into that whole female-on-female jealousy thing (which I’m not, because I believe strong women like Neta and me should support each other), it would be so easy to hate her. Plus, Neta is more than just a bombshell. She was just awarded a huge scholarship for being a Future Businesswoman of America, and my bets are on her to become the next CEO of a huge company. Or to build one.I was horrified but unsurprised to learn that anti-Semitism continued to be prevalent in Poland even after the Nazis left. Over 2,000 Jews were murdered after the end of the war. 42 of those 2,000 were murdered by a Polish mob who accused Jews of kidnapping a Christian boy. It turned out that the “kidnapped” boy in question wasn’t kidnapped at all, he had just gone over to a friend’s house without telling his parents. Yikes doesn’t even begin to cover it. having the L'Amant book ready to hand to her at the bookstore (did he see her before she knew he was there? when did he have time to grab the book, since it seems they start talking right after she notices Alex and his wife and tries to hide?). Did he really suggest that book to her, or is it something Riley planned to implicate him? This book seems like it's going to be a relatively innocuous high-school book about an ultra-competitive yet good-hearted, down-to-earth popular girl with a touch of forbidden romance. And, for about 45% of the book, that's what we get. But then, some strange, jarring twists came out of nowhere. And I still have so many unanswered questions. This is the second book of Amanda K. Morgan I have read and loved this one even more then the first one.

That’s the whole truth without diving too far into exactly what kind of mess they get into with their student-teacher affair and exactly what kind of awful things they do to one another. Such a Good Girl is what happens when you put the student-teacher YA book, the unhealthy relationship YA book, and red food dye in the blender together. Why the latter? BECAUSE WE’VE GOT HEADS ROLLING, PEOPLE. This story line definitely kept me interested throughout and wanting more. The ending without giving things away definitely surprised me. There is definitely more to Riley than meats the eye that much is for sure. Liam gives Neta an awkward thumbs-up. It’s great, Neta. Thanks for asking. Listen, if you ever need help with your papers, I’m here. And that goes for you two as well, okay? He points at Kolbie and me, and then strokes his beard, twisting his fingers into the end. Well, later.Sydnee chokes and then clears her throat. “Are you—are you sure you actually want this to be published in the paper, Riley?” Seriously? Are we in third grade? Neta snips, but her mouth sort of quirks up, like she’s trying not to laugh. Riley was an interesting MC. She's smart and driven and I liked that she was more focused on school and getting into college. There were several times Riley wondered why it was important and expected for her to have a boyfriend and that really stood out to me. Moreover, the book just isn't all that well-written. Rosen's style goes abruptly from personal to detached, then becomes suddenly personal again (since he occasionally inserts himself and his experiences). The prose itself is sloppy, repetitive, and poorly-edited in more than a few places. See you, Sydnee. I smile big at her, trying to communicate that we’re cool, and she’s cool, and maybe she doesn’t have to be so scared next time.

No one bothers to correct my father, but I’m not entirely sure they know he was wrong to start with. They start passing around the noodles. Mom wants Parmesan cheese, so I run to the refrigerator and grate a little into a tiny red bowl. Well, it was. Except that I had just downed, like, an entire grande caramel brulée latte before getting on the elevator, and I was in there, alone, for almost four hours. You know what they say, behind every good girl is a great guy tempting her” 6 Tips for using these responses effectively So if you like any pf the relationship drama of PPL, and the manipulative characters, and the completely far fetched and improbable plots, then yes, I can easily see the comparisons to this book and I think you will like it a lot!

Riley tries her hand at being a little more outgoing in certain areas while having a little something secretive going on around her. This seemingly "good girl" may not be as good as some think she is. Neta pauses from applying her lip gloss and spins around in her chair, crossing her legs. Hi, Liam! she says brightly. How’s your Comms project going? She covers her mouth, like I told her some kind of dirty secret. Am I allowed to publish that? That you’re not a real blonde? This was a very interesting read. The story kept me engaged and wanting to continue reading the entire time. In fact, I read it in only one sitting. It started out feeling like other YA contemporary stories, about a girl and her friends in high school. But as I kept reading I could feel there was more to the story that was brewing beneath the surface. There were lots of twists and the ending left me with my jaw on the floor.
