About this deal

I mentioned previously about how easy it was to put on the boot but one pretty underrated aspect of the X Speedflow.1 was how comfortable the tongue was against my foot. The X Ghosted had the issue of a stiff plastic tongue cutting into your flesh but with a soft knitted tongue in place here, you get no such discomfort.

True to size. Fits the same length wise as every other adidas elite level cleat. Will the X suit my wide feet? Yes you can, there are different versions for different pitches, book a consultation with us and we can help you work out which is best for you between X FG, AG, SG, TF or IC. What are these similar to? While the X Ghosted fit narrow to moderate width feet, the X Speedflow.1 sees a return to a wider fit. That knitted lace area and tongue were key to helping the boot stretch really wide as you put it on. Highlight: adidas evolution in speed, a laceless boot intended to take players to a new level of Speedfullness. Designed to enhance key elements of playing fast soccer; acceleration, agility and instinct.Being a speed boot, this boot is very lightweight at roughly 190-200 grams/6.9 oz depending on the size you have. Can you Get the X in kids? What sizes are available? Tightness is even across the boot; the most seamless sensation; feels like boots disappear when worn Exposed laceless mesh tongue has a fused plastic underlay, preventing it from stretching; even difficult to put on than the + model

Not Mercurialesque in terms of width but may still not be an option for extremely wide feet or very specific foot shapeWith the adidas X Speedflow, we thought it was just a cosmetic facelift of the Ghosted, more of the same. Oh how wrong we were. So for most who want a comfortable fit, even with wide feet, go half size down. If you want the skin tight, snug speed boot fit, I’d dare say you can even go a full size down. Even at a full size down, I expect the X Speedflow.1 to remain comfortable due to the stretchy lace area and that soft, silicone upper. Where speed and comfort meet

Speaking of every step, the Speedportal.1 did not change anything to the Carbitex Speedframe. The snap is there and the stud configuration has more than enough capability to penetrate the ground. The Speedframe encourages the wearer to be on his toes at all times so he could fire himself up to speed at the least time possible. In fact, these are actually one of the better wide fitting laceless boots we have seen released to date! You just have to get through the tight ankle opening, and there is hope that they will feel comfortable to wear. I’m a medium-wide fit and overall I felt comfortable wearing them. Length wise, they are as you would expect and very much true to size compared to other adidas boot releases. There are already several colorways in the range available, highlighted by the recent highly colorful “Numbers Up” edition. That has definitely been the standout version to date, like a boot abstractly painted by a animated artist. This solar red version pictured was the intro colorway for the silo. Playability has always been a strong point for the boots in Adidas’ X series. The X Speedportals still have a remarkably close touch on the ball due to the thin Speedskin 2.0 upper. Adidas have also slightly increased the width of the toe-box area. This allows for your toes to spread out while playing, which is something I appreciate as someone with wide feet. Improves the Nemeziz overall most especially the already good football boot .1 model because of the additional gripThe decision to switch from X Ghosted to X Speedflow seemed to happen pretty rapid, something we normally don’t see from adidas. It is clear that they wanted to add some modifications that deserved to exist along with a fresh new title. Why the decision was made, we really don’t know. But in hand, the materials used through Speedflow seem a lot more responsive and fine tuned. Visually, the design evokes a connection with explosive speed, exactly the type of message that adidas is trying to convey to fans. adidas messed with the formula in the X Ghosted, making them smaller and placed higher too which made it less comfortable for players. I’m glad that they decided to revert to the original formula for the X Speedflow.1 That silicone upper is something else First is the scaling the Carbitex inserts on the tooling to full-length, maximising the energy-return and propulsive feel of the Speedframe. The studs are now more solid in shape, making them slightly less (but nonetheless still sharp) relative to the Speedflow configuration.
