About this deal

Swing the panel in the middle inward, connecting the tabs on the panel to the corresponding grooves on the insides of the tread pieces. The beginning of Earthrise has Starscream set out one for the rebel Autobots led by Elita-1 using the remains of a fallen Autobot named Steeljaw. Dramatically Missing the Point: When Sky Lynx states that being in the Dead Universe had allowed him to become true power, Optimus thinks that he is still as arrogant as when Alpha Trion banished him. Sky Lynx then clarifies that even with all his power, he could never leave the Dead Universe, and the situation forced him to reexamine himself and took a level in humility. At some point after Cybertron's Golden Age, a group of Sharkticons foresaw him as the being who would one day lead them to freedom. They managed to carve an image of him on a cave wall before they were executed. Retribution

Go Mad from the Revelation: After Starscream steals the Golden Disk and listens to its entries himself, he learns about Unicron and what he will do in the future, including turning Megatron into Galvatron. After this, he becomes much more unhinged, constantly attempting to warn everyone about Unicron and how they all need to work together against him. Gender-Equal Ensemble: During Earthrise, Elita-1' surviving cell consists of herself, Red Alert, Jetfire and Chromia. You know you can't catch a break when you find yourself trapped inside a novelty plasma lamp from Spencer's. The Unreveal: What Deseeus planned to do to the Autobots was not revealed in Earthrise due to them escaping. After spending most of the first season as an unaligned scavenger, Bumblebee officially joins the Autobots in the third episode of Earthrise. Dinobot refers to Starscream and the Decepticons as "Ghosts". Then when he dies he becomes one literally. Apparently, the stealth bomber Megatron design used in IDW for a while was created by artist Don Figueroa. However, he created the design as part of a story pitch to editor Andy Schmidt; a pitch the editor rejected. Schmidt proceeded to use the design for this comic, but without compensation or credit to Figueroa; something the artist was highly displeased about. [1] Honor Before Reason: A recurring problem with just about everyone. Many will keep to their guns, figuratively and literally, rather than give in to the problems at hand. Except Megatron, sealing his role as The Unfettered.

Part of the retooling for this release involves Megatron getting a whole new set of accessories. Here's a rundown: Megatron has his two aforementioned weapons. The fusion cannon has never looked better, and fits on the arm nicely. It has the proper proportions and look, which is something that none of the previous Generations Megatrons have pulled off. As an added bonus, you can leave the cannon attached when transforming Megatron into tank mode – so you never need to take the cannon off. Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: When Starscream and Dinobot are arguing, Starscream says how he has suffered for millions of years and thus deserves power and leadership. Dinobot just says that Starscream is using his own suffering as an excuse to justify his selfishness and cowardness and inflict suffering onto others. A gold-chrome redeco of the original MP-5 mold, Megatron Gold Version is a Hasbro Asia release under the TakaraTomy label (making it the first TakaraTomy Masterpiece to not be released, thus far, in Japan). It comes with all the same accessories as the original release, including the mace. Talking to the Dead: The season 2 premiere has Megatron talking to the decapitated head of Ultra Magnus who was killed in the previous season.

While answering fan mail from the "Ask Megatron" Segments, he replied that his most embarrassing moment was when he cried in front of Soundwave when Twilight Sparkle became a princess. Omega Supreme, a member of the formerly neutral Guardians, Ratchet the medic and Bumblebee, a neutral Energon hunter, decide to throw in their chips with the Autobots. I really like this robot mode a lot, but there is one design choice made that I am not fond of. The head sits on a panel that collapses in when you transform the figure. However, in this mode the panel does not rest on anything. It depends completely on a hinge to hold it up. Now, for the most part it has stayed up after several transformations. However, I can see how this could wear down after a while causing the head to permanently flop down. Hopefully I am wrong about this, but I would have preferred the panel actually rest on something. At some point during the voyage, Megatron changed his alternate mode to that of a Cybertronian spacecraft.
