Even then it’s a flatter design by nature, so if you want a fully filled up palm you should probably skip this one. Other than that, there’s nothing wrong with the mouse. The fact is you can get up to scratch with the shape of the mouse; there’s a world of possibility with it. A good example is this mouse; the brand produced right and left-handed variants gamers and regular users alike would appreciate. However, this one is an ambidextrous model which fits into any hand orientation regardless of experience. The side buttons area net negative though; these would benefit from some upgrades, but aside from that and the fact that I feel like they could do away with some of the weight there’s, objectively speaking, nothing wrong with this mouse at all. In fact it’s a great mouse if you can dig the shape and don’t mind the weight (which isn’t all that bad anyway since it’s not a small mouse and it’s nicely balanced). That’s because wireless mice have a slight delay if their battery life starts to get low. If you’re in a close match, this Lancehead TE is worth having in your corner. Here are a few shapes I drew at different sensitivity stages to test for any jitter, prediction, angle snapping, drift control, etc. No major problems here to report as well other than the fact that I’m terrible at drawing on a PC. Razer’s 5G Optical Sensor (PMW 3389) is about as good as mouse sensors can get. Very accurate. Aside from gaming, I use this with Lightroom and Photoshop every day and performance is superb. The DPI switches are placed below the scroll wheel and I've found myself using them very often to go between 800-3200. An overlay pops up showing you the current DPI for a couple seconds after you switch, even in fullscreen apps, which is a great touch (you need to install the software for this.)When you activate them, you won’t notice clear differences, while under the mouse frame, you get a button and LED indicator to change profiles. Overall, the mouse’s build is nice and glides across surfaces using three feet. – Buttons and Scroll Wheel: Great Feel and Switches Another point is the side buttons. We feel the side buttons don’t do enough and appear to make up the numbers. That’s why the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition weight could be better without the side buttons. This is a pretty flat mouse, which’ll generally man a couple of things: it’s going to be ideal for fingertip and claw grip (provided you don’t want a full palm when clawing) and only suitable for palm grippers with smaller hands. I appreciate that Razer designed this mouse with left-handed folks in mind. It's nice to know that if my left-handed friends visit, they'll be able to use my computer. The Lancehead is a medium sized mouse (though it definitely leans more towards the ‘large’ side than the other way around) that weighs in at 103 grams.These days that’s pretty substantial for a wired mouse without any additional buttons or features. The weight is nicely balanced so it’s not unwieldy or anything, but in future iterations of this mouse I’d like to see Razer focus on losing at least some of that weight.
