About this deal

The game starts shortly after the siege of Acre and ends just before the battle of Arsuf, thus making the narration span from July to September 1191.

Later, the Misthios is hired to assassinate the wolf of Sparta, only to find out that the Wolf of Sparta is none other than Nikolaos. The Misthios travels to Delph where they meet Herodotos and are warned about the Cult of Kosmos. The Cult of Kosmos wants them and their family gone. The Misthios decides to clear out the Cult before the Cult can seize control of Greece and get rid of them. Makuch, Eddie (23 December 2015). In one of the original interviews with IGN, game producer Jade Raymond described Altaïr as a "medieval hitman" with a "mysterious past" and definitely not a time traveler. After Assassin's Creed was released in 2007, Ubisoft Montreal said they looked to "rework the global structure" in developing the sequel, Assassin's Creed II. They felt that parkour was underutilized in the first game and designed the world in the sequel to feature freerun highways to make it easier to enter into parkour moves, for example using rooftops to escape pursuits. [6] The change in setting meant that the game would feature a new cast of characters, including a new protagonist, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Assassin's Creed II also brought in more use of crowds to hide in plain sight that the developers had seen used in Hitman: Blood Money, adding more to the concept of social stealth as a gameplay option. [6] Finally, Ubisoft Montreal completely reworked the repetitive mission structure from the first game through numerous side activities, collectibles, and secrets. These additions became a central part of the series going forward as well as other Ubisoft games like Watch Dogs, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. [6] Assassin's Creed II was followed by two sequels, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations, which also featured Ezio as the main protagonist and introduced the ability for players to recruit NPCs as Assassins and manage them in missions. [6] The 2nd Assassin’s Creed game will also run on any modern system with no problem. It requires that you have an Intel Core Duo E8200 or AMD Athlon II X4 620 processor, 2GB of RAM, a video card with 512MB of VRAM, and 17GB of hard drive space available. Justifying this high of a finish for the unwieldy time we spent collecting Assassin's Creed Valhalla trophies after our Odyssey critiques is going to make for a few unhappy readers, we know. Let's get the major negative out of the way as we extensively discussed in our Assassin's Creed Valhalla review — everything bad about Valhalla can be put down to its absurd size. The map is so big it ceases to become remotely enjoyable; the story missions lose total comprehensibility for hours at a time; the narrative repeats over and over to fill time with repeated sub-plots in every English Kingdom, and the side content to fill the gaps if often petty and stupid. Despite releasing nearly two years after AC: Unity, AC: Origins doesn’t have any different recommended system requirements. Origins recommends having at least an Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350 processor, a GTX 760 or Radeon R9 280X graphics card, 8GB of RAM, and 50GB of storage space.

We can’t think of many other video game series that have had the success Assassin’s Creed’s had from only eleven games!

The setting is 1191 AD. The Third Crusade is tearing the Holy Land apart. You, Altair, intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. Landing on the American Revolution in an attempt to narratively and visually pull players as far from Rome as possible was genuinely a smart move — it's likely the most well-known pre-modern war going. Plus, players clambering to see what Assassin's Creed plays like with guns could finally get their fill without the series going all Modern Warfare on us. Also, Assassin's Creed 3 trophies aside, the Revolution-themed multiplayer was great! In 2022, Ubisoft announced several additional games for the series. Assassin's Creed Infinity has been described by its executive producer, Marc-Alexis Côté, as a "new design philosophy" for the series, [1] [11] as well as a hub that will provide the releases of future games. [12] The first two games to be included in Infinity will be Assassin's Creed: Codename Red, set in Feudal Japan, [9] and Assassin's Creed: Codename Hexe, rumoured to be set in Central Europe during the 16th century. [13] Gameplay An Assassin's Creed III demo showing the parkour gameplay The combat is good... but not after 50 hours — let alone 150 hours. If you are going for completion, then that is the hour mark you can expect to finish with the base game playing naturally. For some people, this will offer value, especially with all of the free and paid DLC expansions. Frankly, though, we just don't think it respects your time in any way, shape, or form. At the same time, Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines was released for the PSP. It was comprised as another spin-off game in the same vein as Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles, where the story of Altaïr continued a month after Assassin's Creed. The style of the graphics and the gameplay also resembled the first game more than its predecessor Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles.

3. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (2010)

AC III is loaded with historical figures, including George Washington, Sam Adams, Charles Lee, and Benjamin Franklin. Set nearly 400 years earlier than any other mainline game, Assassin's Creed Odyssey expanded on the RPG elements introduced in Origins to complete its genre-turn from stealth-based action to open-world RPG. It introduces key narrative concepts like the Pieces of Eden and the Animus, the in-universe device that allows each game's modern-day protagonist to relive the memories of their historic counterparts through DNA. Discover a living breathing world where every character is an opportunity for the player. Blending in with the crowd is easier, working with in-game characters provide ample rewards but can also lead to surprising consequences. Available on: Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, Stadia | IGN's Assassin's Creed 3 Wiki 12. Assassins Creed Unity (1789–1794)

The game is played from a third-person perspective, and players have the choice of either single-player or online multiplayer mode. Desmond Miles, a bartender, is kidnapped by the company Abstergo Industries for use as a test subject in the "Animus," a device that can simulate genetic memory. Abstergo intends to put Desmond in the device to recall the memories of his ancestor, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, a member of the Assassin Brotherhood in the year 1191, who lived during the Third Crusade in the Holy Land. Initially, Desmond has trouble adjusting to the device, but eventually relives Altaïr's exploits over the next several days. The game then primarily changes to Altaïr's point-of-view, with occasional transitions to Desmond, due to problems with the Animus or onset of the Bleeding Effect. Mirage is set in the city of Baghdad, and unlike Valhalla, it will feature just one large city, instead of a wide-open world. Something that most AC fans will be happy about.Players are tasked with guiding Ezio on a quest for vengeance against those who betrayed his family. You’ll work your way through the streets of 15th and early 16th, Italy, exploring cities like Florence, Venice, Tuscany, and Forli. GameTrailers Assassin's Creed Video Review". GameTrailers. The fundamentals of gameplay were completed within nine to twelve months, and another year was spent improving it before they presented the game to Ubisoft's executives in Paris. [12] Jade Raymond was brought in in late 2004 to serve as the game's producer, helping with the team's growth and the game's direction. [12] [19] From late 2005 to early 2006, following nearly two years of development, the concept for Prince of Persia: Assassins had the game's titular prince AI-controlled, watched over by the player-controlled Assassin that served as the Prince's bodyguard and rescued the Prince from various situations. [11] Ubisoft's management and the development had debates on this direction; Ubisoft's management wanted another game in the Prince of Persia franchise and was not keen on releasing a game with that name where the Prince was not the lead character. The development team counters that with a new generation of consoles, they could potentially make it a new intellectual property. [13] [12] Near the 2006 Game Developers Conference, Ubisoft's marketing team came up with the idea of naming the game Assassin's Creed, which Désilets recognized fit in perfectly with the themes they had been working on, including tying into the creed of the Assassins that "nothing is true; everything is permitted". [12] The prince character was dropped, and the game focused solely on the assassin as the playable character. [12] [13]
