Often the thinking is that small things are delicate, but not so with the Miele Boost CX1, which displays the build quality I’ve come to expect from the German company. Everything feels rigid and tough, plus the vacuum cleaner is very nicely designed. On its lowest setting, I measured an excellent 89AW, which is similar to the suction power of the Shark CZ00UKT. Hugely beneficial if one or more household members work from home or if you have pets/children sensitive to loud noises. To test the Miele Boost CX1, I put it through my usual set of tests. First, I measured raw performance, evaluating suction at the handle in AirWatts (AW). This is a combination of airflow and lift power, and is the only true way to compare vacuum cleaner performance. Although we weren’t able to measure the noise level due to technical issues, it was noticeably quieter to our ear. Miele pegs the noise output at 78dB which is in line with typical vacuum cleaner noise levels, with anything above 80dB approaching the noise level of a food blender. The floor head is not motorized, so the only sound you’ll hear is from the motor.Thanks to its compact design, the Boost CX 1 bagless vacuum cleaner from Miele will stand safe and secure on any stair or step. The wheels at the sides of the appliance stop it from rolling over and provide safety. This means that you can park your vacuum cleaner at any time if you need to get on with something else.
