About this deal

When your child scoots along the ground the lights will come to life. They are more visible at night of course, but you can definitely see them in the day. My two absolutely love this feature!

The kids absolutely loved their Mini Micro scooters but it’s been clear for a while my very tall five-year-old (she’s always been long ever since she was born) is growing out of hers. We added colourful ribbons and helmets to our Maxi Micro Deluxe foldable LED scooters to ensure the kids could play on their new rides safely. These are sold separately. It’s worth taking a few minutes to get used to folding and unfolding the scooter. It’s a very simple mechanism but one that’s worth perfecting before your kids take a ride. These come in a range of colours such as rainbow and purple. When your child whizzes along the ribbons stream out behind them. They’re a lovely touch for the scooter.

We were sent two of the purple Micro Children’s Deluxe Helmet in medium. These feature a flashing rear light for safety. The Micro-Scooters were built to last and you can really feel that in the quality of the frame. The LED lights are definitely worth getting as an extra feature, because they just really add to the overall fun of using the scooter.

The Mini Micro Scooter is for kids up to age five while the Maxi Micro will last your child from age five to 12. There are several different ranges in the Micro Scooter family that suit different ages, abilities and preferences when it comes to scooting. I give them the thumbs-up because they are built with such a sturdy and robust frame so they can cope with anything the kids throw at them. The kids adore them because they look cool and riding them is so easy and fun. The Maxi Micro Deluxe Scooter with eye-catching LED in the wheels looks awesome, comes in a great range of colours to suit any kid’s taste and is incredibly easy for kids to use.The lean to steer control is effortless and the touch brake on the rear wheel is simple to get the hang of. Of course the best thing about the Micro Scooters range is how durable and solid they are. This is the most important feature parents want when shopping for a scooter for little ones.

Yes if you get the Deluxe foldable scooter. There is a Maxi Micro Scooter that does not have the fold feature. The size difference is clear when you see them next to each other in terms of the board. The handle bar pole also extends far longer on the Maxi Micro Scooter. If you are searching for the perfect gift for kid’s birthday or Christmas then I think you have found it! The Maxi Micro Deluxe is steered with the same lean to turn mechanise that the girls’ Mini Micro scooters have. Your child simply leans the handlebars in the direction they would like to go in and it steers the scooter. With wheels that light up when they scoot and a foldable mechanism to make it easy to store, the Maxi Micro Deluxe foldable LED scooter is my children’s new favourite way to travel! The ribbons really are the icing on the cake – they look so pretty streaming behind the scooters as the kids zoom along. How does the Maxi Micro Deluxe foldable LED scooter work? The footplate has silicone mouldings spelling at the Micro name that make it extra grippy which is essential for soggy shoes in Britain. How to fold and unfold the Maxi Micro Deluxe The Micro Scooter was founded in 2004 when two British ladies discovered the scooters made by Swiss inventor Wim Oubtoer. He launched his scooters 20 years ago and the inventor has since been named one of the top 10 toy inventors of all time! Open up the box, unfold the frame, then adjust and tighten the handlebars and you’re ready to scoot! We had the Mini Micro Scooters first and it was clear as the kids started school that they needed to upgrade to the larger Maxi range.
