About this deal

It’s a bone dry dusty vanilla. I am pretty good at discerning notes but I may be anosmic to this. It’s a dusty dry and slightly powdery vanilla. It goes musky woody on my skin, with ever so slightly iris notes ( not mentioned at all ), and a woody musky base. The peach appears very lightly after a while . I do not smell any kind of Tuberose , Jasmine, violets , brown sugar or whipping cream. I wish a did , but rest assured , there’s not a trace a sugar here .

This is very beautiful. Compared to other mancera fragrances it’s very light, but i don’t mind that at all.Mancera Holidays EDP opens with a moderate projection of very sweet, fruity, and white floral notes. The opening is delicious, fruity, dense, and refined. The coconut, bergamot, ylang-ylang, tiara flower, and vanilla are the opening most prominent notes. The bergamot is a brief visitor, its citrusy presence is just an introduction to the rest of the notes. The coconut and ylang-ylang blend their notes creating a deliciously fruity, tropical, milky, and creamy tone. In addition to its fruity and sweet tone, the ylang-ylang adds a delectable, banana-like accord. The tiara flower is also very prominent, it introduces a white floral, creamy, and fruity accord. The sea notes are noticeable in the form of a pinch of salt eclipsed by the sweet tones. As the fragrance dries down, the vanilla, which is noticeable as soon as the fragrance is applied, joins the less noticeable sandalwood, adding a very sweet, aromatic, dessert-like, and gourmand note; the sandalwood is almost unnoticeable. The white musk is the last developing note, it adds a fresh powdery and projecting accord. Once Mancera Holidays EDP has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, sweet, vanilla, coconut, floral-fruity, ylang-ylang, tiara flower, and white musk fragrance. The fragrance feels comforting, creamy, delectable, delicate, delicious, fresh, gourmand, inviting, light-marine, modern, natural, nicely-blended, playful, refined, rich, sweet, more feminine than masculine, and very pleasant.

Eating the strongest vanilla candy inside of a run-down resort hotel next to the window, smelling the armoas from the nearby beach and tropics.

Mancera Paris Coco Vanille è la dolcezza di cui hai bisogno

That being said, Holidays is another coconut-sunscreen scent on the market. But what sets it apart from other sunscreen scents that I’ve tried is the seawater note in this. It’s cuts through all the sweetness of the coconut, vanilla, tiaré, and just the overall sweetness of this scent, and makes it different enough from Coco Vanille by Mancera and other scents in this category. To compare it to Soleil Blanc, Terracotta, Bronze Goddess, etc. isn’t right because none of those have that aquatic, salty note in them.

SEASONS: Winter, spring, fall, colder days, daytime, nighttime, and climate-controlled environments. I agree with how this reminds me of some Alien Goddess, especially with the sweetness, and recalls memories of other beach/holiday style scents in the same vein. Guerlian's 'Terracotta' and Tom Ford's 'Soleil blanc' are much more refined, interesting though... far less artifical sweetness going on, along with a more unique character. If anything, this reminds me more of one of my favourite summer perfumes - M. Micallef's 'Ylang in Gold'. I prefer M.Micallefs offering though... which feels less synthetic overall and more balanced and smooth. It's not a huge perfumer but significant enough that its performance is not a detractor (I've never really come across Montale or Mancera offerings that I'd classify as weak performers, anyway). Surely worth trying for most of us that can enjoy vanilla and/or floral fragrances. With Holidays, I am getting the same vibe but less artificial. Been wearing all day and it has lasted on me all day for over 10 hours now. But also, I am an over sprayer (12+ sprays usually, judge me...I don't care!) and the Mancera quality and formula really makes it last and go a long way. Leans more femine but hell IF A MAN WORE THIS id want to lean in closer, would smell gorgeousss and comforting and delicious on a man. I own Around 23+ Mancera fragrances and all have been great except for a few because of pathetic YouTube hype. Quando lo indosso, preferisco allora investire la mia attenzione più sul cocco e la vaniglia - che comunque dai fiori, non c'è che dire, vengono rinfrescati, e quindi ok.
