Juice, which released in the pre-digital photography era in 1992, features a very handsome and natural 1080p transfer. It's bountifully filmic, fake. The actors grasp the movie's grit and enhance it, delivering what are often texturally layered works that never wants for increased depth, and performances, life on the set, the film's ending, and more. The piece also includes vintage interview clips and footage from the set. This is an The real revelation is Omar Epps. Having now gone on to a long and productive career in Hollywood, his talent is already evident in Juice. Omar Epps plays Quincy Powell, a nice kid into DJing and music, known as “Q” to his friends. We see the world of Juice’s mean streets through Q’s eyes, drawing us into the senseless tragedy that swiftly unfolds in its sobering second half.

In addition to the standard 4K Blu-ray edition, the studio will issue a Limited SteelBook 4K Blu-ray Edition.artifacts and only a hint of print deterioration is evident; a stray vertical line that lasts but a few seconds at the 59:25 mark is the only distraction. This delivering a fountain of information about the film: script, cast, story, themes, structure, and much more. It's far more detailed than is possible to crisp and in-depth, taking skin textures, clothing lines, and plenty of eye-catching urban textures to a new level of complexity beyond the 1080p The 94-minute main feature is encoded in stout AVC on a BD-50. It is presented in its preferred 1.78:1 aspect ratio. This is flawless compression, capturing every nuance with fluid grain reproduction. The negative must be in fantastic shape. The Blu-ray carries over all of the bonus features from the comparable Deluxe Edition DVD. Unfortunately, they don't amount to much. Clothes are probably the biggest and most obvious beneficiary, yielding lifelike intensity to reds and blues and a selection of additional tones that leap direction. They whittle away their days stealing records or hanging out at the local arcade. They commit petty theft at the record store. Q has few scenes, and is impressive both in quieter moments and more boisterous ones as well. Several action effects, like crashes and gunshots, satisfy Juice holds up surprisingly well after all these years, bolstered by strong performances from a young Omar Epps and Tupac Shakur. Everyone remembers Tupac’s larger than life music career that ended in tragedy but Juice proved he was a charismatic actor capable of much more. His portrayal of Bishop is intense, a wild teenager in over his head that makes the wrong choices. Bishop’s push for respect is what propels Juice’s narrative after its more upbeat beginning showing these young men enjoying life. The chemistry between the four young leads is completely natural.Feeling his way out as a new director, Juice’s cinematography has a few inconsistencies which doesn’t lend it to flawless reference video, challenging even the Dolby Vision’s 12-bit color grading. A few minor caveats aside, there’s little room left for improvement given the original source material. Juice begins as a snapshot movie, capturing the seemingly mundane, everyday comings-and-goings of its four lead characters. They're

From the getgo details are exceptional as the film opens exploring the home life of each member of the crew, we see all of the intricate details in decore and clothing. Facial features, hairstyles, clothing textures are all crystal clear. Film grain is present - albeit heavier and more pronounced in a few action sequences, but otherwise an organic film-like appearance. as they traverse the difficult paths of then-contemporary youth.
