DO inspect the unit frequently. Dirt that has collected should be removed regularly to prevent excessive accumulation that may result in flashover or fire. Best results with continuous use. To tell you the truth, Instant air purifiers is definitely far away from being quiet, especially at a higher speed levels. But here’s a good news: in Night mode the air purifier runs only at a speed one which produces white noise, but this white noise isn’t disturbing. I’ve put the small unit in my small bedroom and it didn’t bother me at night at all. Both Instant air purifiers are independently tested by AHAM and their advertised space coverage of 126 sq. ft. and 388 sq. ft. is legit which is something nice to have in 2023. That means they can clean up air in such spaces every 12 minutes which is a requirement for an air purifier to be suitable for people who have breathing conditions such as asthma, allergies and so on. Instant air purifiers also employ Plasma Ion Technology which is an ionizer in a nutshell. It produces negative ions which attach themselves to particles, making them bigger and easier to capture. In addition, it has a one-year limited warranty. I know it is not a good thing compared to other air purifiers. But I am satisfied as it is cheaper than other purifying units and competes with them in performance. As for the sound levels, Instant air purifiers aren’t leaders in this department. The small unit is quiet on low speed, but somewhat noisy at a high speed, despite it not being powerful. So I’ve got 2 Instant air purifiers: one for me small bedroom (model AP100) and the other one for my living room (AP300). On a surface they look similar, but obviously the unit for smaller space is smaller in size and looks more “beefy” in diameter. The Instant AP300 is taller and looks more sleek.

We’ve been using this purifier about a week in our office and I can tell a difference in the air in there, especially if we have the doors closed. I have an air quality meter that I set on top of the unit and the PM2.5 & PM10 read “0” the HCHO reading was 0.01 and VOCs at 0.44 all of which are incredibly low. It’s easy to tell that the purifier is doing its job very well. Switch to see either Air Quality rating or PM2.5 rating. The latter means particulate matter and stands for tiny particles 2.5 micron is size and smaller. Doesn’t present on small Instant air purifier.As you can see from the table above, the number of air changes per hour drops significantly after 600 square feet. And spaces over 900 sq. ft. won’t be properly ventilated at all (required minimum for living room is 2 ACPH, see recommendations). But as for the advertised space of ~ 400 sq. ft., Instant air purifier AP300 definitely works. In rooms smaller than 400 sq. ft. this air purifier will definitely remove any allergy symptoms (especially if you consider pollen as a source of it).
