Oxygenated bleach is chlorine-free, but it’s great for removing stains and whitening just about anything; only it’s devoid of the toxicity that accompanies standard chlorine bleach. Clean the tile edges to remove excess grout using a flat-blade screwdriver and utility knife. You need to create at least a ⅛-inch joint space for the new grout to penetrate and adhere correctly. 2. Inspect the Tiles Before you move on to the next steps, you’ll need to be very careful to thoroughly rinse and clean the grout to remove the chemicals and cleaners you’ve used so far. Where possible, we wouldn't recommend using white grout on your floors. It will stain!
