One of the most impressive features is the internal battery that can provide up to 7 hours of battery life when recording at 1080p or 4.5 hours at 4K. To put this into context, that’s over double that of the standard GoPro battery. Drift Ghost XL has a maximum frame rate of 60fps which is compatible with 720p and WVGA resolutions only. This camera continues with its predecessors’ same design. You will easily confuse it with the Ghost X and the Ghost 4K. One physical distinguishing feature is the size, as the name suggests, the XL is the bigger brother here. Others have mentioned the ability to connect an external mic using a waterproof adaptor. Haven't tried this yet but it's looking like it may be an option for low light plates.

However, in windy conditions, you might not like the sound quality. I prefer using an external microphone for this camera. In truth, even if things didn't move that fast in the world of cameras, the Drift XL would struggle – it's very similar to the Drift Stealth 2 HD that George tested in 2015. That's seven years ago. The adjustment of the field of view, on the other hand, is a great option to give you flexibility on how much you want to include in the frame. The options are 90°, 115° and 140°. DashWare - that won't do it; again, it's happy to stitch video and telemetry but nothing to do with the actual video ClycliqPlus - certainly not the version that I have installed (although there was an update offered when I opened it - but i doubt it will pull this information. EVERYTHING BUILT-IN

I have been using the Insta360 R camera for nearly 18 months and whilst I’m not a wizz at video editing I do like the way it captures the scenery and gives you the option to choose the view of the camera after the footage has been recorded. The downside of this is that everything seems so far away. Watching YouTube vloggers with their forward facing cameras I did wonder if they are onto a better thing.
