I did hear the Manfred Mann version first and typically the first version of a song I hear is the version I like the best. I do agree with another poster that said regardless of what the PRINTED lyrics state, I still, to this day 30 years after first hearing this song, believe that they actually SANG ?wrapped up like a douche!?
