About this deal

Gooseberry Cream (green wrapper, light green fondant with a touch of Gooseberry Preserve covered in milk chocolate)

Use these fantastic, teacher-made Charlie and the Chocolate Factory pictures to colour to inspire your class or child to design their own chocolate bar. The Sea Salt Milk Lindor Truffle features the smooth milk chocolate shell and center we all know and love. Wrapped in a light teal wrapper, this truffle practically melts as it touches your lips and releases its robust, almost excessive, creaminess onto the eater. This is all great, but do you notice what is missing? Oh right, the sea salt! Their list of discontinued products is far less extensive than its three competitors with just two to lose their place. It’s a close call but on a personal level, Heroes just about edges it when it comes to which box our family opts for over the Christmas period.

As for the brands that’ve been lost, there have been a surprising number given the selection has only been in existence for just over 20 years. Unchanged design

They were introduced in September 1999 as a response to rival Mars' Celebrations (more on them later) and the box contains miniature versions of various Cadbury chocolate bars.

It’s worth noting that many of these experienced minor alterations while others were dropped altogether. It won’t be surprising to hear, given that the brand has been around for the best part of 85 years, that there have been many flavours that had to be sacrificed to make way for the current crop. His idea was to cover the different toffees with chocolate and present them in low-cost, yet attractive, boxes. Heroes, of course, have been around for nowhere near as long as Cadbury's other selection though they now feel like they have been available for a long, long time.He also introduced new technology, the world's first twist-wrapping machine, to wrap each chocolate in a distinctive wrapper. The current chocolates chosen to represent Cadbury in their selection box are: Read More Related Articles
