About this deal

Earlier this year, I published a review of 30652 Doctor Strange's Interdimensional Portal and commented that the most satisfying polybags include a desirable minifigure beside a creative model. 30653 Batman 1992 is an excellent example, especially for the minifigure, which is only available in 76252 Batcave - Shadow Box, outside this polybag.

Even though build time is not really a thing with this polybag, you nonetheless get a small structure to assemble. It is a little display base for Batman. The gargoyle on it is identical to those on the display bases for the 1989 Batmobile, the 1989 Batwing, and the Batmobile Tumbler. Consequently they display well near each other. However, they do not connect, which would be a neat feature. You can modify them easily enough so they all line up though. This particular base would look better if it had a consistent look and texturing all around. With that said this is certainly a nice display base. Let’s go with 90% for the build. Batman 1992 on your left, Batman 1989 on your right. MINIFIGURE: 97% I don’t tend to touch much LEGO Ninjago related stuff, although I do appreciate their creativity and great looking sets, it’s just I’m not that into it as a theme. LEGO fans have much to look forward to with the upcoming release of the LEGO Winter Fun VIP Add-on 40610. This unique promotional offering adds more fun to your LEGO winter collection and promises to spur your imagination to build more holiday-themed creations. The LEGO Marvel Doctor Strange’s Interdimensional Portal (30652) polybag comes in at 44 pieces. It features a minifigure version of Doctor Strange that can also be found on other Multiverse of Madness sets, such as the Gargantos Showdown (76205) and the Sanctum Sanctorum (76218).

There’s also a clip on the model, which seems like an errant element, but could possibly hint at more rooftop sections to come featuring more Batman characters, hopefully in this affordable polybag format too. The big drawcard of course is the 1992 Batman minifigure, which has only featured in two sets before this polybag (and the Batcave Shadowbox), 761390 1989 Batmobile and 76161 1989 Batwing which were 2 very large and expensive sets. I found the Batman 1992 (30653) polybag at Toys R Us. My local store had no shortage of them and I bought more than one. Who knows? Maybe I’ll do a giveaway in the future when the product retires and becomes hard to find. In any case, while most of the Summer 2023 Batman sets hit store shelves in August, this one is out now along with the Batcave Shadowbox. From what I can tell in the images, the Shadowbox Batman minifigure is the same as the polybag version. Both differ from the Batman minifigs coming in August, which look more like a standard Batman minifig with some ’89-esque printing. Polybag Specifics

Each of these small sets has had its own theme, often drawing inspiration from the seasons. In the case of winter, we now have the privilege of seeing a second polybag offering. This set stands out from its predecessor, the LEGO Winter Wonderland VIP expansion set 40514 from 2021, with its distinctive composition and fewer Trans-Light Blue elements for crafting icy landscapes. It’s Batman, and while DC has been languishing in the last few years, I’m really glad polybags like 30653 Batman 1992 still exist as cost-effective ways for those on a budget to get their hands on sought-after characters, and it’s not hyperbolic to say that this is one of the best polybags of 2023. We now have the set images and prices for the upcoming LEGO DC Comics 30653 Batman 1992 Polybag Set 2023 set. On the other hand, the LEGO Group seemingly had enough leftover Michael Keaton Batman minifigures to bring us 854235 Batman Keyring in 2022, so this polybag could be another way to offload remaining supplies of that character (who also appeared in 2020’s 76161 1989 Batwing). We’ll hopefully find out one way or the other fairly soon. After revealing a nice and cost-effective way to have an MCU-inspired LEGO Doctor Strange minifigure a few days ago, fans of these collectibles will be glad to know that there are more LEGO polybags 2023 that will arrive any time soon.

A Closer Look at the LEGO Christmas Fun VIP Add-On Pack

For those that are looking forward to completing their LEGO Disney minidolls, LEGO is now offering a great way of adding Moana and Pua to their collection. There are also two LEGO Creator polybags included in the mix, both of which will be available in March just in time if you’re planning to add them as giveaways for this year’s Easter celebrations.

The small section of wall Batman perches on is similar in style to the longer plinth found in the now retired Batmobile (76139) set. The corner-section is smart with a lot of architectural detail crammed into such a small space. The use of inverted slopes to break up the flat wall elements. An all-new LEGO DC Comics Batman polybag mini set has been revealed. There were previously LEGO DC Comics 30653 Batman 1992 Polybag Set Summer 2023 leaks and rumors but the set has now been officially revealed from Toys R Us Canada. Polybags are great, they’re extremely affordable and make for a great entry point into the World of LEGO.Keep an eye on your local LEGO or other hobby stores if you wish to be the first to have this LEGO Marvel Doctor Strange 2023 polybag. More updates on this polybag coming soon. I know it’s not Winter or Christmas but building this LEGO Snowman was still enjoyable. It has a couple of interesting techniques such as the blue scarf and the way it connects together and to the Snowman, along with SNOT ( studs not on top) elements inside the body. Likewise, the VIP Rewards Center is also loaded with LEGO Star Wars sweepstakes and rewards to celebrate the occasion. Be sure to join the raffle and get your chance to get these exclusive prizes. Each raffle entry and reward has a required number of VIP points. Sterling Silver R2-D2 (50 LEGO VIP points required per raffle entry) It’s small, but a really usable and practical build as it serves as a nice little display pedestal for Batman.
