About this deal

Finally, it's Muc Off Tyre Foam for the tyres, available from Wilko's ( muc-off.com/products/tyre-foam). A long lasting deep satin shine for the tyres.

Traditional hard wax or cream polishes can take quite a while to apply, require a fair amount of elbow grease and can’t be used if the paintwork has any water on it whatsoever… and that’s highly likely after you’ve just washed and leathered the car, so the only answer is to wait while the bodywork fully dries. This can take hours. Wax acts as a protectant to your paint. If you've ever been gifted some artisan waxed cheese you'll be familiar with the protective qualities of a wax casing; it'll protect the cheese from water, sun and other contaminants. Car wax works the same but on a much larger scale and the layer it forms is invisible. A good car was won't wear off easily and will protect your paint from heat, UV rays, water and other contaminants. Some of the more expensive waxes will also provide a nice deep shine.Spray wax is more of a top-up product and won't last anywhere near as long as the others but it's still useful if you're in a rush. Which one you choose is up to you, both are very good and you will not be disappointed by either. We hope this post has helped you choose, or you could carry out your own tests and get both!

Natural waxes only come in paste form, and although they take extra effort to use, they produce the best results. The catch? They tend to be more expensive, and also only last for six to eight weeks. Some of these products can be used while the paintwork is wet, allowing you to dry off the car and protect it all in one go. Many can also be used as a 'rapid detailer', which removes fine grime between washes to keep your paintwork looking its shiniest. How we tested them Aqua Wax is not a polish, so will not remove or improve the appearance of scratches, swirls or dull paint. Features & Benefits: Paste wax will take the longest to apply but will give the best overall coverage. It will provide a much deeper shine and finish but can easily eat up an entire afternoon. Cleaning enthusiasts who attend Concours d'Elegance events get terribly in-depth on the subject. That's fine, but their recommendations are frequently too expensive for regular Joes. But don’t worry, we know of effective car wax that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.We get a lot of questions asking what is the difference between Rapid Ceramic Spray and Rapid Aqua Wax. Both are excellent products and have their fair share of fans, but which one is best for you? In this blog post we are going to answer that very question so you can choose the one that best fits your needs. We’ll start off with a brief look at each product. Triple wax is my favourite wax, its not the most durable but I do wax once a month (Ive mentioned on here before that I do have a "thing" about cleaning my car).

However, Aqua Wax does have its limitations. It’s not a polish, so can’t remove scratches, swirls or improve the appearance of dull/faded paintwork. Dedicated polishes are needed in these situations. Pros Pastes generally provide the best finish, but often require buffing to bring out the shine after application. Sprays and liquids can be applied much faster, and some don’t require a second buff, but their finishes tend to be less impressive. Not all wax is the same and it’s worth knowing the different types so you can get the right results: product/helpAdviseTab.hbs -->
