I enjoyed this story, but nothing particularly made me want to look into the series. Regardless, the story is fast-paced, with interesting characters and magic, with some twists that make it feel more complex. Only by courageously facing the stark revelations can Sky and Holder hope to heal their emotional scars and find a way to live and love without boundaries. A huge relief after the last few stories; this was the perfect length, and no outside context was needed. Entirely predictable but still sweet and fun to read; I definitely enjoyed this one. By far the two best stories are by authors that I already love...Emma Scott and Colleen Hoover. Honorable mentions go out to K.L. Grayson and Debra Anastasia who are both new-to-me authors.
