About this deal

Pour the margarita into the prepared glasses, garnish with lime wedges and fresh mint sprigs, and serve immediately. Living in SoCal, we really go all out for this holiday. Glorious Mexican food is happening all week long, and since I just made my Carne Asada last week, I’ll probably whip up my Carne Asada Tacos and Carne Asada Fries this week with any leftovers. This Mango Chamoy Margarita recipe has 2 oz. of El Jimador Tequila in each drink. I never use more than 2 oz. per drink. Chamoy can be made many different ways but often contains prunes, apricots, chile de arbol, hibiscus and tajin. Tajin contains chili powder, lime powder and salt.

Start at the top of the mango and cut downward. Just cutting the skin off, not cutting away any flesh. Triple sec: this orange-flavored liqueur adds a nice touch. My favorite is Cointreau, but Grand Marnier is a good substitute. You can replace it with fresh orange juice for a less alcoholic version. Frozen mango is an easy substitute, and will save you a lot of time. Also, sugar on the rim of the glass instead of salt! You could also double this recipe and pour the mango puree into a pitcher full of ice, if you’re serving the mango margarita up for a party. Or if you’re just one to two people, you could easily half the recipe. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

It’s finally warming up in Chicago, so we’re cooling off with this mango margarita! To me, it’s the perfect warm weather drink – frosty, refreshing, and blissfully easy to make. Just toss 5 ingredients into the blender, puree until smooth, and enjoy! Yep, making this frozen mango margarita recipe is as simple as that.

This Mango Chamoy Margarita is the perfect drink for summer. So why not make it more perfect and add a scoop of mango sorbet in your glass! Then you have a refreshing mango slush! If you cut down into the mango and it’s hard then simply lift your knife and move it away from the center of the mango about 1/8 of an inch.

Agave syrup: if you don’t have agave syrup, honey, maple syrup, or simple syrup work as good substitutes. Sugar-Free - Just like my Avocado Margarita, my mango margarita is sugar-free and has no added sweetener. The sweetness comes from the sweet, juicy mangoes and the orange liqueur. It has a refined, grown-up taste and you will absolutely love it! 📝 Ingredients & Substitutions Sign up for my newsletter to get all the latest and greatest recipes sent straight to your inbox!
