About this deal

I was worried after book 2 how the whole Vincent/Scythe thing was going to play out, I really didn’t want to see either guy go. So I couldn’t have been more excited that Bliss wasn’t going to lose either. And I was glad for War too, he needed Scythe just as much as Bliss did. Bliss and her fiery ways is going to have these men fall to there knees with want and she is gonna make them know shes in charge And Vincent, the quiet new guy nobody seems to see except me. He's sweet and quirky, but there's a darkness in him just waiting to be unleashed. Elle Thorpe lives on the sunny east coast of Australia, about an hour out of Sydney. When she's not writing stories full of kissing and chemistry, she's a wife, and Mummy to three tiny humans. She's also official ball thrower to one slobbery dog named Rollo. Yes, she named a female dog after a male character on Vikings. Don't judge her. Elle is a complete and utter fangirl at heart, obsessing over The Walking Dead and Outlander to an unhealthy degree. But she wouldn't change a thing. I found that I was frustrated with Bliss' good heartedness when it came to those who have hurt her and/or her family. I absolutely couldn't do the same if in her position. Especially when I had guys like hers at my disposal. There's NO WAY that I could leave loose ends like that and crimes unpunished.

Speaking of Caleb, how the hell did he KNOW when Bliss wasn't going to be at the bar, when he went to see Rebel MULTIPLE TIMES? Not buying it. 🥴There’s a little psychopath in all of us. I wear mine on my sleeve. Most people keep theirs buried. You just let yours out to play for a moment. I liked her. Psycho Bliss with blood on her hands was sexy as hell.” the young guy in the alley telling Scythe and War to “Enjoy the closet” when they told him they weren’t gay. Love Bliss, War, and Scythe/Vincent in a relationship. If the romantic part of the story focused on building a relationship with War and Vincent, I’d love them even more. (I get they don’t have the same relationship as Scythe, but I felt like we barely got Vincent in the dynamic🙁 I’d love to see a genuine friendship form at least) i just wanna say to Caleb and Jerry, ESPECIALLY AFTER JERRY MADE THAT CREEP AS COMMENT TO VERITY, sleep with both eyes open because TRUST you will be dealt with. War, heir to a biker gang throne and searching for the man who left his mother in a coma. Bonded over a common goal, he introduces me to a world of after-hours clubs, danger, and violence.

I gave the audiobook a listen too! Whew! Talk about eargasm! Nothing quite like Scythe's satiny growl in your ear delivered by the yummy Gregory Salinas. I absolutely loved it! All the men, and yes I mean ALL (as in 4, we’re counting Vincent and Scythe as two) are shown to each have their own role in her life while still meshing together perfectly ❤️ (I mean that in the metaphorical AND physical (🥵) sense).

I disliked the extra character POVs we got in this book. The information we learned wasn’t vital, and could’ve easily been handled in a conversation with someone else. It just made the story drag on longer. Nash, my brother's best friend. Older and more experienced, he still remembers me as the neglected child he once saved. How did they find her keys? Last she lost them after carving into Caleb's chest.... It's stupid.. I know. Does it bug me? Yes. He hot wired her car. She lost her keys. It was mentioned 🤷🏻‍♀️

War, heir to a biker gang throneand searching for the man who left his mother in a coma. Bonded over a common goal, he introduces me to a world of after-hours clubs, danger, and violence. hopefully all of my suspicions will be resolved by this next book because i WILL NOT leave this series with more questions. <3 Another thing that annoyed me a bit in this series is the constant thoughts about the FMC’s weight. Yes she’s curvy and the representation is great but we don’t need to talk about it all the time. the fact that Little Dog still doesn’t have a name and that she shared a bed with Bliss the first night she was at Vincent’s house. Ugh. I don't want to make up the answers in my head. I want it all wrapped up with a nice bow at the end for these characters.War, heir to a biker gang throne and searching for the man who left his mother in a coma. Bonded over a common goal, he introduces me to a world of after-hours clubs, danger, and violence. Nash, my brother's best friend. Older and more experienced, he still remembers me as the neglected child he once saved.

Even if I have to listen to those two make old man jokes for the rest of my life... I'm all in. Even with you two assholes." Gregory and Michelle did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future. Other than that, I just thought that Bliss' dive into the seedier realm of her brother's world was just sort of shrugged off. Going from a perfect pink princess to a barf filled bar where you get groped every night are two vastly different realities. Personally, I usually like the struggle to assimilate as much as I like the main plot.

Then into this mix, we are introduced to three men Nash who's older and her brother's best friend. War the VP to turned prez of a local MC gang and Vincent is a mysterious blunt male who seems equally as naive as he is worldly. Not gonna lie Vincent is definitely my favourite especially with his alter ego Scythe lurking under the skin just waiting to make an appearance and I think he was also the major reason i decided to continue on with this. Nash oh well hes just a swoony moody alpha that has you all hot and bothered. He is so protective of Bliss and that makes her so hot for him. Nash serves no purpose for me other than a reason why Bliss returned to Saint View; beyond that, there’s nothing there, just sexual tension Frfr. He added nothing and took away nothing. His best friend died and he did relatively nothing to figure it out Fr. Asking a bunch of people at his funeral to come forward if they killed him wasn’t smart nor was it beneficial. What killer you know is gonna step forward confessing to murder, surrounded by a bunch of people who’d kill them if they step forward??? What sense did that make?! None!!😒
