Before I get to the Thief Kingdom, I should say I liked the connection between the sisters. I enjoyed their interactions and it’s consistently enjoyable to see sisters be mischievous together. Every one of them had a brilliant character and I felt that they truly loved and really care for each other. That is a significant thing to me when reading about familial bonds.

Meanwhile, the secondary narrative offers the promise of a sequel between an equally compelling couple to come. and the personalities.. from the get-go, it was apparent that each of them is different yet the same. They were 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲, 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿��, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱. The family dynamics in this book were to die for.. the relationship and connection between them were extremely beautiful. The start immediately pulled me in with the introduction of the Thief Kingdom and the three sisters as the Mousai. I thought the scene when they made the performance was strong and beautifully written. It totally captured the power of the three sisters and the world they belonged to, with a dash of respect and reverence. But the plot and the way 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸. I mean, it was interesting and a bit heartbreaking but I feel this could have been so much more…. The 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱😕 and I wanted to see more of it. Svet je sám o sebe veľmi zaujímavý a aj keď nevieme o ňom absolútne všetko, nemala som pocit, že by som sa v ňom vyslovene strácala. Celá kniha- vrátane postáv, sa nesie na takej tej morálne šedej atmosféry. Kniha je pomerne násilná, autorka sa nebojí krvi, rezných rán čo by mohlo niekomu vadiť, ale ak nie... Takmer celú knihu som sama zo sebou vnútorne debatovala či je táto kniha YA a asi by som povedala že nie? Prioritne asi práve kvôli násiliu, ale čiastočne aj sexuálnemu obsahu (Keď už, mohlo byť aspoň viac 😁)
