About this deal

When the clasps are closed, the suitcase is perfectly sealed. This also improves on zips in a waterproof test as there is nowhere for water to ingress. Wheels The S'Cure Spinner 75 cm is a relatively inexpensive and stable travel companion with plenty of storage space. Its ease of movement compensates for minor flaws. The quality of a leading brand in the travel accessories sector is always evident and the ease of transport combined with a simple design suitable for everyone are confirmed as the strong points of this type of rigid luggage. The polypropylene outer material is thin and lightweight without losing stability and strength. Thanks also to the aluminium handle and the four wheels it is particularly easy to handle. Main Features

There are some manufacturers who offer guarantees that include damage caused by airlines, for example Briggs & Riley and certain products by Victorinox. The S’Cure hardside luggage is made of a new, revolutionary polypropylene material that is called Flowlite. This material is incredibly lightweight, but also very durable. The shell of the suitcase is, therefore, incredibly strong and resistant to pretty much anything. And it is really easy to clean, which is something I always look for in luggage.

Samsonite S'Cure Trolley 4 wheels 75 cm

Instead of the regular zip we see on most suitcases, Samsonite have offered a new direction that I think we will see more of in the future. Zips are a particular weak point in luggage because of damage and theft. The seal removes those weak points. One side of the clam shell design is fully encased with a zip. The other side has luggage straps that are non-adjustable. You therefore need to fill this high enough to prevent clothes falling out. Samsonite S Cure 20 Inch Capacity S’Cure will appeal to regular travellers, though anyone looking for long-term value will benefit from them. The side-clasp opening, easy to clean exterior and wide choice of colours are all popular.

The wheels are small, tough and move in any direction. If you have not had a Samsonite Spinner before, then give it a (literal) twirl… S’Cure cases will spin around 360 degrees. Yes, there is no zip mechanism. Instead there is a waterproof seal and the suitcase is closed using clasps. What is the Samsonite S’Cure DLX range? The texture of the suitcase also means that any scratches will not show like they would on a material like ABS. The flat matte finish also helps with this and will eave your suitcase looking fresher for longer. They are double wheel spinners with 360-degree maneuverability which means the suitcase will go exactly where you want it too. Samsonite S’cure 30 Integrated ID tag As I mention above, the finish is excellent. Something you expect of Samsonite and this range is no different. There are no concerns or issues to report here…proceed with confidence.I will cover the reasons in more details below but to give you a taster of what to expect, here is why this range is different. Well, after some trial and error, I now go with ‘Secure,’ only with a silent first ‘e.’ If you prefer ‘ES-CURE’ then more power to you! It is an extension to the S’Cure range and is the premium version. It has a soft touch handle and chrome accents. How long is the Samsonite warranty?

Constructed from Flowlite™, a revolutionary new polypropylene mix which makes this case very tough but lightweight Samsonite does offer a lifetime warranty with their cases. I’d be surprised if you need to use this with these tough hard-shell cases. The only negatives I could find involved damage from airlines and scratches. Of course, nobody wants that – though I’d be super-surprised if these Samsonite cases fared any worse than a cheap ‘no brand’ alternative under the circumstances. Wrapping Up: Are the Samsonite S’Cure Spinners Right for You? Which? have written a good article on luggage that has been damage by airlines: https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/advice/the-airline-has-lost-or-damaged-my-bag-what-can-i-do While by no means lightweight, I found them reasonably weighted when you take the toughness of the shell into account. There are plenty of flimsy no-name alternatives which are over 4kg for a medium. S’Cure cases are built from Flowlite Polypropylene. These weights are based on the nicer DLX versions with upgraded interiors. We can already make certain assumptions with Samsonite. They have been in the business a long time, they know what they are doing. I honestly can’t remember the last time I thought they released a poor product. Maneuverability: 4-wheel suitcases offer greater m aneuverability when travelling with your case because the wheels rotate 360 degrees. They can travel along side you or be pulled on 2-wheels behind you. 4-wheel cabin cases can also fit easily down the aisle on an aircraft by pushing it side-on. The main body is constructed using polypropylene rather than the polycarbonate that Samsonite normally use. Although polycarbonate is traditionally considered stronger, polypropylene is still a very strong thermoplastic. It is more than capable of handling bumps, bruises and general mishandling.

The divider pad in the Samsonite Magnum Eco has been made from Samsonite’s specialised and patented Less likely to snap off: because the 2- wheels are set into the case you won't find baggage handlers using the wheels as handles when they are getting your bag on of off the aircraft. With a zip closure, there is always a slight concern that a suitcase may either endure damage to the zipper or that thieves could potentially access the suitcase with something as simple as a ball point pen. Without a zip, this is no longer an option. The wheels on the Samsonite S’Cure are excellent and performed well over a number of surfaces. Obviously, with all suitcase wheels, they don’t perform that well over rougher terrains. Thank you for taking the time to read this Samsonite S’Cure review. This was an interesting review for me…something different for a change. Having reviewed hundreds of suitcases over the years, something a little different can peak my curiosity.

Advantages of the Samsonite Trolley

DLX versions have new interiors compared to the regular S’Cure range. Both are perfectly serviceable. Generally speaking, the difference is not massive but poor design can be a source of frustration and poor user experience.
