About this deal

This is the latest in Andrew Taylor’s ‘Ashes of London’ series which is set in the years immediately following the Great Fire. As ever, the books are strong on atmosphere and place and follow the adventures of James Marwood who is clerk to Joseph Williamson and Lord Arlington, the Secretary of State, and the recently widowed architect Cat Hakesby. Marwood and Cat’s relationship is as spiky as ever but, as ever, it is their friendship that is key to much in this book, and series. ROMANCE: There was no Romance tag before the promotion of this drama. To those who keep asking if there will be romance or not, the first episode will give you hints (so better watch it). A blend of thriller, drama and romance involving MI5, the royal family, an acting dynasty and a young investigative reporter eager to make a name for herself, Lucinda Riley seems to have added a new dimension to her writing with the Love Letter, not entirely successfully in my honest opinion. the photography may be of a different size of the same product. The Love Letter was my first book by Lucinda Riley, and I can’t believe I haven’t read a book by this author before. This is a magnificent book, full of secrets, forbidden romances and unsolved mysteries of the past.I have to say that I have some questions about certain things that characters say towards the end. maybe I didn't truly understand their meaning but otherwise the plot hung together well and I could clearly see the trail of death and motives from start to finish. In the end, this was a decent read with good intrigue that held my interest in varying degrees but, ultimately not as engaging as I had hoped. Readers who enjoy a bigger tale with lots of characters and are willing to accept a neat and tidy ending, will probably enjoy this book more than I did. these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, do

The Royal Secret starts quietly, and builds up on a slow burn. Bodies turn up in odd places, and disappear again, and plenty of people seem to have their fingers in the mess. And I’m not just talking about the appalling ordure of the Smithfield area of London (meat market) in the 1670s, either. I was invited to read a free copy of this book by the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review. He knew he mustn't go to sleep. He closed his eyes, desperately searching, searching . . . snatches of memories, faces . . .

Set toward the end of the Joseon era, Sung Yi Gyum places first in the state examination, landing him a position at Hongmungwan in the Administration and Research Department. Despite his recent success, he has no life goals, nor the ambition to realize them, if he did! There is one particular person at the heart of this mystery, but there is a lot of deception and some misjudgment, as well as complications. Besides one being dead, another vanishes, and yet another has a powerful friend. It presents some challenges for Marwood. OST: So far, we only have 1 OST for the 5 episodes. They haven’t released the full version yet but N.Flying’s OST I’ll Find You is such a bop. KBS please released it soon. I absolutely adored the characters in this book. Zoe, Marcus and Joanna being my favourites but really the whole cast was an incredible mix of personalities. What was most interesting was seeing how various characters developed through the course of the book…some for better and some for worse 🤐
