His career also included acting roles in films such as In The Name of The Father (1993) and Brookside (1994). Paul O'Grady was born on 14 June 1955 in Birkenhead, England. He attended well respected Catholic Pre school Redcourt before leaving to pursue a more creative road. After leaving college, he worked as a clerk for the DHSS and as an accountant in an abattoir in London.
